“You know, you’re one of the reasons I became a lawyer, Samantha.”
“Please call me Sam, Tina. Yes, your mother told me. I understand you’ve become quite the legal eagle. Your mother is very proud of you, Tina. She loves you very much.”
“And I love her very much, too. Be good to her, Sam. She’s waited a long time for this happiness.”
“We both have, Tina. I will try my best to keep her in a constant state of happiness from now on.”
Again, the thought of her mother engaged in the same sexual joy as she and Bette left her without words for a brief moment. “…Well, when do I get to see the both of you?” Tina asked quickly to get the images out of her mind.
“I think I’ll let your mother take care of that part of it, Tina. Here she is.” Sam put her palm over the mouthpiece and handed the phone back to Ann. “She wants to know when she’ll get to see us, so here’s your opening to ask about a visit.”
“Tina, honey, is your schedule very busy in the next few days? I’d like to come visit. It’s been a long time. I want to meet Bette and, of course, I want you to meet Sam.”
“Well, I’ve got a jury going out on Monday and after that Bette and I…could you hold just a moment, Mom?” Tina covered the phone and looked at Bette. Bette knew instantly from the few words Tina said that Ann must want to visit.
“Tell your mother to come on up, Baby. We’ll find time to get away, don’t worry.”
Tina’s eyes sparkled with thanks and adoration for this woman she loved.
“Mom, sure, come on up. When do you think you’ll get here?”
“We could probably catch a flight in on Sunday and rent a car at the airport. Where would be a good place to stay in town?”
“You don’t think you’re staying at a hotel, do you?”
“Honey, we can’t impose on the two of you.”
“Mom, you’ll stay in my place. I’ll stay with Bette. Don’t argue with me. You’ll have your privacy and all the comforts of home. I have a sofa bed in the living room that’s never been used.”

When I first saw this chapter earlier in the evening I did my happy dance. So happy to have you back with us and to see another chapter and so are a lot of other readers. Now we get to see the reaction of Tina and Bette with Ann and Sam, should be very interesting. I have a personal interest to see their interaction. Thanks again so much for posting this chapter.
