and there returned the sparkle mixed with desire to Bette’s eyes. Tina realized then she would always and forever know what Bette was truly and honestly feeling just by looking into those eyes. Those eyes spoke the truth and the truth was Bette Porter wanted and needed to be with Tina, if only for a short time more this weekend.
Walking back they were in front of Bette’s building first and they turned and entered the lobby.
Eduardo was at the desk and saw them enter.
“Evening, MsBette. It was a beautiful weekend, no?”
Bette gave him her thousand watt smile.
“Unbelievably beautiful, yes, Eduardo.”
The quiet and respectful desk man flashed her his own toothy grin in return. He watched the two women enter the elevator. “Eso es una mujer especial for Ms. Bette to bring her home!” he said to himself. He had been at the front desk ten years now and never once saw Bette bring a woman upstairs to her apartment.
The elevator doors closed and the two turned to look at each other.
“You know, it doesn’t seem so long ago I was riding down in this elevator nervous as a teenager on her first date. Now, I’m nervous going back up with the thoughts of our time ending. Forgive me, T, but I don’t want this weekend to end.”
“Me either, Bette.”
The doors opened and Bette led Tina to her apartment. Bette unlocked her door, turned to Tina and tilted her head and said,
“Pleasecome in and do” Bette then brushed her lips against Tina’s – “whatever you wantto me.”
Tina’s knees buckled, her insides became a warm mass of quivering jello and she swallowed hard as she stared into Bette’s eyes. Letting this evening and this weekend go was going to be incredibly difficult, made all the more so by the intensity of Bette’s mouth now on hers, tasting the warmth of her tongue dancing with her own.
Tina broke the kiss. “Bette, honey, I don’t think I can stand for too much longer.”
Bette wrapped her arm around Tina’s waist and pulled her close.
“I make this promise today; to always hold you up, T. And if my grip should ever fail for whatever reason, know I will rush below to be the safety net to protect you.”

I love this: “Hey you, look at me.” Tina stopped and turned Bette towards her. Tina looked into those dark eyes and saw a sadness that broke her heart. I’m praying for at least one moment like that in S3. And congratulations on finding love. It’s nice to see a happy TiBette (even in fanfic) bringing people together. I look forward to the next chapter.
Arceextl,Another portion of perfection.The gentle teasing from the gang was a scene to behold and adore. Janice was an interruption but only proved how deep their love was. There is such a sense of sweetness and wonderment between Bette and Tina; these newly united lovers are still a little unsure and uncertain as to what the future will hold however they are both drive by desire and passion for each other.
