My love, My Life, My soul…my Forever Ch. 22

    **************************************

"Tina!" Shane yelled as she entered the hotel room. The manager gratefully let her into the room after she explained to her what had happened. Shane’s charm usually got her what she wanted.

Shane walked around the corner and saw Tina lying on her side motionless. Shane sat in front of Tina, watching her cry.

"Huni what’s going on?" Shane questioned.

Tina sat up slowly and let her upper body fall against the wall for support.

"I…I…" Tina tried to speak but found that her tears interrupted her ability to concentrate.

Shane moved over to the wall where Tina was sitting and sat beside her. She pulled Tina into her and held her as she cried. Shane had never seen Tina this upset… not even when she found out Bette cheated on her so many years before. Shane wasn’t usually the comforting type, but she felt for Tina. If Tina was crying this hard, it must be something horrid and she couldn’t help but to protectively comfort her.

"Did Bette hurt you?" Shane asked quietly after Tina’s sobs slowed down.

"God no," Tina admitted at once as she sat up.

Shane smiled at Tina. "Huni, I love you, but you’re starting to resemble a raccoon…” She said with a meek laugh, hoping it will force a small smile out of the blonde.

Tina smile slightly at Shane’s comment. She had totally forgotten about all the makeup that she has put on earlier.

    "Tina?" Shane called gently.

Tina looked up at her friend who was sitting beside her. Tina could see the anxiety across Shane’s face – an emotion Shane rarely had.

    "What happened?"

Tina took a deep breath. "You promise you won’t hate me too?" she asked as tears started to flow from her glossy hazel eyes.

    "Just tell me," Shane encouraged.

"I lied to Bette. I lied to all of you," Tina admitted meekly.

"What did you lie about Tina? Huni, you can tell me, I won’t say anything to anyone else," Shane reassured.

"Bette…" Tina trailed off as she felt her breathing quicken. She took a deep breath and blurted out "Bette wasn’t my first!" Tina’s body fell onto Shane’s and she cried on Shane’s lap.

    1. OMG!! Just read the last two posted chapters. I know Tina was feelign guilt about her past, but that was not the way to tell Bette. I am just glad Shane saw he leave and called Kit. I had surgery to remove my uterus due to fibroids-that according to the doctor weighed 4lbs, I am coming along though.

    2. All thanks to Kit Porter, Bette needed that scolding. But I believe she needed the air to breathe as well. Its not easy news and its better she cleared her mind than to blurt something she’ll regret right then and there. Great chapter. They’ll make it through, right? Haha.

    3. Ok i read a comment and I tried to write personally, but couldn’t figure out how to do it. However, I want to clear something up…and i may also do this with the next post – Dainty, if you feel like i have offended you, please personal message me. I do not like dirty laundry laid out for everyone to see. And i never meant to be offensive because in truth, my girlfriend is half african american and she tells me to get my “translucent (or sometimes she says albino or pale) black ass [here]”. Its not meant to be offensive, I just have been in an environment where this is what i have witnessed on more than one occasion with more than one party… Next time, please personal message me. Again, I do not like “dirty laundry” aired in public and i can apologize to you personally and explain my reasonings behind the terminology I use. It would be the same thing as saying “Get your white ass over here”… which for some reason is FINE to be said among Caucasians…and no one gets offended…

    4. A case of those that live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Bette shouldn’t be so hypocritical.Tina may have been abused by her sister. She may have found in difficult to deny her sister b/c of the age difference.

    5. It’s good that Shane saw Bette speeding and called Kit so she could find Bette and talk to her and also that she went to check on Tina that needs comforting as well. Granted, Tina should have told her that her sister molested her rather than the way she told her the info. Now, one more thing I have to say about this chapter. I am completely offended by the phrase “black ass and black behind” used to describe Bette in this chapter, and offensive to JB herself. I thought it was a bit racial and completely unnecessary. Maybe not your intention but that is how it came across. Thanks for posting.
