Maura is carrying two mugs with coffee and sits on the side of the bed; sleepy Jane wakes up smelling the strong drink.

Maura: “good morning sleeping beauty”

Jane: (yawning) “my body is trashed but I’m happy… I really missed you, Maura”

Maura: “now, do you want to know what did I learn in my internship?”

Jane: “sure honey, what did you learn?”

Maura: “the training was about neuron regulation of dreams and external intervention”

Jane: “wow, it’s about controlling someone else dream?”

Maura: “in certain way it is, but the main point is that in the future we may be able not only of controlling other people dreams but also of inducing some dreams just acting in the fourth and fifth sleep stages”

Jane: “are you kidding me, that is so bold”

Maura: “yes it is, but it’s possible at least in theory

At 6:00 a.m. Jane left through Maura’s window toward her own building.

Bette is in the living room of the building gathering all the students:

Bette: (serious) “I have been notified about a new emergency situation, we are under a state of siege until further instructions, in the meantime we will remain in our building…

(going through each face with her eyes and stopping several times on Tina, a fact that isn’t unnoticed for some of the blonde’s friends)… tomorrow classes will be held here through video holographic teleconference… if you need to talk to me, feel free to come to my office…”

After saying that, Bette goes to her office and closes her door.

Inside, Bette starts calling different people Louise, Phyllis and Sharon are not answering, and then she calls her sister Kit.

Kit: “Bette, I was worried about you, are you okay?”

Bette: “yes, I’m fine, with a group of newbies in the house group; do you know what is happening?’

Kit: “all California and at least 5 other states are under state of siege, and most of the rest of the nation is under curfew, daddy says that a massive magnetic vortex is forming, that’s all I know”
