    Author Notes:

    AU Alice, Shane and Tina are best friends. Tina and Shane finally meet Alice’s girlfriend, Bette Porter.

     

    “I’ll wait till they come over,” Bette mumbled.

     

    She didn’t want to turn around and gawp at them, especially when they were going to come over to where they were sat anyway.

     

    Bette lifted up her coffee again and nodded at what Alice was saying, when really, she was paying no attention.  She did like the quirky blond but there was something about their relationship – it just wasn’t going anywhere.

     

    She looked over at her girlfriend just in time to spot the wide eyes and extremely happy grin that was being sent over her shoulder.

     

    “Hi you two!”

     

    Bette winced at how loud her voice was before turning around and facing Alice’s friends.

     

    The first one she saw was medium height, skinny, messy brown hair and a rather pretty face. Bette smiled as she extended her hand, which the shorter woman shook.

     

    “Hi, I’m Bette Porter.”

     

    “Shane,” She threw back, “Nice to meet you.”

     

    Bette smiled widely, “Likewise.”

     

    When Shane slipped into a seat beside Alice, Bette looked at the other woman. Her breath caught in her throat as their eyes connected and for the briefest of seconds she lost the ability to speak.

     

    It was only when Alice nudged her in the arm that she managed to find her voice.

     

    “Tina Kennard?” Bette said smoothly with an arch of her brow.

     

    She didn’t seem surprised that she knew her name.

     

    “Bette Porter? Nice to finally meet you.” Tina made a point of emphasising the word ‘finally’.

     

    Tina chose to sit in the available seat beside Bette and looked at her with a bright smile.

     

    “ I take it you’ve heard a lot about me?”

     

    “You could say that.”

     

    Bette smiled at her once more before turning in the direction of Alice and speaking to her. Tina took this opportunity to lean back in her chair and study Bette.

     

    She was a beautiful woman. Lovely coloured skin, wide eyes, hair that Tina wanted to run her fingers through. She knew it was bad thinking about these things since Bette is Alice’s girlfriend.

     

    “So, Tee, how’s Helena?” Alice asked across the table.

    1. I really like your writing. I hope you continue. My heart primarily belongs to Danish, so, I hope Dana comes back to take care of Alice if/when Bette and Tina get together. Hint… Hint…

    2. Like this begining, it sure does have a different twist. I know Alice and Bette were together before Tina, but they had already split by then. But I’m having faith that you will bring them together.

Oh dear rofl De Ja Vu’Just Like with Eric, Alice is doing the same thing! *tut* *tut* lol!Even though I am a tibetter, always will be, But before tibette, ya think Alice and Bette can have a last romp lol!, Ilene was unfair when all she gave us, what that lil scene at the Opera, I dno about anyone else, but even tho that was Hot, I was hoping for something more.

    13. Very nice sorry Alice has to get her heart broken, but if Bette could feel the relationship wasn’t going any where couldn’t Alice feel it too. Can’t wait for Tina and Bette to hang out for the day the possibilities are endless. Eagerly awaiting your next chapter pps.
