"I am sorry honey I know how much you like Al and you will still see her maybe at the planet. We just won’t be spending a lot of time with her like we used to." Bette said. Jess rolled over and looked at Bette.

"But she was my friend." Jess said sniffling . Bette pulled Jess into her lap.

"I know honey she was mine too. I hope that one day we will be friends again, but I don’t know when that will be." Bette said.

"I hope it’s soon." Jess said hugging Bette.

"Me too." Bette said. Tears were building in Bette’s eyes. She didn’t think that it would hurt this bad, but she knew it was for the best.

Bette was anxiously awaiting Tina’s arrival to pick up her earring. Over the past couple of days she taken the earring out of the envelop and almost studied it. Jess was in the play room playing. Jess appeared in Bette’s door way just at the time Tina was supposed to show.

"Mommy can I go color in the galleries?" Jess asked.

"Sure honey. Why don’t you go in the side gallery? You haven’t drawn in there in awhile." Bette suggested because it was the furthest away from her office. She didn’t want to scare Tina off. Which the news of Jess often did.

"Okay. Can we go to the planet for lunch, Please?" Jess asked.

"Only if you draw me three pretty pictures." Bette said trying to secure some alone time with Tina.

Jess smiled.

"Okay." She said and ran off into the side gallery.

Bette’s seduction fell into full swing when the blonde waltzed into the gallery.

After about twenty minutes Jess had quickly finished the three pictures that she had promised Bette. She walked to the opening of the gallery and quickly hid behind the wall when she saw Bette and Tina kissing. She stood there until she heard them say there good byes.

She watched Tina leave from a window in the side gallery. Tina never lost the huge smile that grew on her face the second she had turned her back towards Bette.

"Mommy can we go to the Planet now?" Jess asked snapping Bette out of her daze.

"Sure." Bette said.

Bette and Jess walked in. Jess looked around for Alice. She smiled ear to ear when she saw her sitting with Dana, and Shane at their usually table.

"Al" Jess said loudly. She dropped Bette’s hand and ran over to Alice. Alice turned and smiled when she heard Jess call her name.

Jess jumped into Alice’s lap.

"Hey rug rat. What have you been up to?" Alice said.

"Nothing much." Jess said.

Bette walked slowly up to the table. She was anxious to she everyone’s reaction.

"Jess." She said. The group looked at her.

"Are you here for lunch?" Alice asked.

"Yeah." Jess said. Marina walked up with Jess’s coloring book and crayons in hand. She sat Jess’s usual apple juice down on the table.

"Bette are you having your regular Tea?" Marina asked.

"Um Yeah." Bette answered.

"So. Bette tell us about this blonde bombshell you are falling for." Shane said.

Bette smiled.

"Come on Porter, we want details." Alice said. Bette wasn’t quite sure what to do.

"Details about what?" Jess asked.

"About this blonde hottie that mommy likes." Alice said.

"Al." Bette said.

"You mean that lady that mommy was kissing at the gallery." Jess said.

Everyone was shocked to hear Jess say that.

"Okay now I absolutely have to have details. Sit." Alice demanded.

Bette sat and spilled. They talked like nothing had happened. Jess and Bette had their Best Friend back and they were never going to let her go again.
