    Summary:
    Bette and Tina revisit their past.

    Bette shrugs nonchalantly. ”If I can…”

    A playful smirk tugs at the corners of Michelle’s mouth as she leans against the doorframe. ”You’re capable of a lot…I’m sure you can handle this.”

    Bette lets out an audible sigh and shrugs. ”What is it?”

    Michelle nods towards the living room. ”I bought this picture, and I’m not really sure where to hang it. I could use your expertise…”

    Bette stares at Michelle for a beat before glancing down at her watch. She then sighs and shrugs again. ”Uh yeah…”

    A wide smile spreads across Michelle’s face. ”Great…” She steps aside and opens the door wider.

    Bette ushers Angie inside and watches her daughter run over to play with Mickey. The two happily head towards the living room, where a few of Mickey’s toys are scattered about.

    As they step inside, Bette glances around the small foyer. ”Where is the painting?”

    Michelle chuckles as she walks past Bette toward the living room. ”I said picture…and don’t judge me. It’s not like a fancy piece you’re used to…I got it from this vintage store like regular folks do…”

    Bette chuckles and shakes her head playfully. ”I am regular folks…”

    Michelle stops, turns, and looks at Bette with a fond smile. ”Stop it. There’s nothing regular about you, Bette Porter.”

    They enter the living room and step around the kids. Michelle picks up the large picture of a bouquet of yellow sunflowers.

    Bette gives a slight nod. ”It’s a nice picture…”

    Michelle smiles proudly. ”Thank you. That means a lot coming from the illustrious Bette Porter.” She then looks around the living room. ”So, which wall would you recommend? I was thinking over the sofa…”

    Bette turns and surveys the space on the wall above the dark blue sofa before shaking her head. ”You could, but I wouldn’t…this would be a good space.” She walks over to the far wall and nods toward it. ”Ideally, it would be one of the first things people see when they walk into the room. It’s an eye-catching piece. If you put it over the sofa, it will get a few glances, but hanging it on this wall would surely do it justice.”

    Michelle furrows her brows in thought. ”Really? But wouldn’t it be just like an afterthought in the room?”

    1. I’m so happy for this update and what for update.

      Finally they had the much needed talk before moving on. So much emotion and heartbreak but so needed to discuss, put it to the past and choose the “All”. Sorry Kate, you will get the nothing, hope you find your own the love of your life.

      And Michelle is still hoping to win back Bette, it’s not going to happen, find yourself a new woman.

      Really really well written chapter. Loved it ❤️

    3. Woow, an update, what a pleasant surprise! Finally Bette and Tina have put the tastings on the table to start clean. It will be funny when Bette has to attend the double date with Alice without wanting to be there.

      • I still think Mich still has one more play/conniving scheme of seduction she’ll launch to trip Bette up. Maybe drawing Tina into a “I told U Bette cant/wont b faithful” . . . or maybe a “Bette, Mikey needs you to come over right now” txt

      Hmmmmm . . . I say maybe Chelly ends up w/’Ol Gia. And perhaps giving custody of Micky to Bette???? Nawww, she wont do that. Micky is THE one ink she’ll have to Bette. 4get I even brought it up y’all
