    Summary:
    Bette and Tina revisit their past.

    Alphaville Studios….

    Tina is sitting on the plush sofa in her spacious office. A stack of storyboards is spread out on the large glass coffee table in front of her. The sound of two quick knocks signals the entrance of her assistant, who peeks her head inside.

    ”Hey, boss, sorry to disturb you,” she says, ”But Kate Arden is here to see you.”

    Tina furrows her brow. ”Oh…did we have a meeting I wasn’t aware of?”

    Before her assistant can respond, Kate confidently pushes open the door and enters. ”We did not,” she says with a charming smile.

    Tina returns the smile as she watches Kate walk into her office. She then turns to her assistant. ”Thank you, we’re good.”

    The assistant nods and closes the door behind her as she leaves.

    Tina gives Kate another polite smile. ”So, what can I do for you?”

    Kate slides her hands into the pockets of her fitted blazer and shrugs. ”Nothing, I was just exploring the lot and ended up here.”

    ”Oh, so what do you think of it so far?” Tina asks as she leans back on the sofa, crossing her legs and adjusting her pencil skirt.

    ”Not bad,” Kate responds with a laugh. She then walks over to Tina’s desk, picks up a framed photo of Angie, and turns it around to show Tina. Cute kid.”

    Tina beams with pride. ”Thank you.”

    Kate briefly studies the photo before carefully placing it back onto Tina’s desk. She then turns to face Tina. ”She looks just like your ex-wife, ya know?”

    Tina chuckles and nods. ”Yes, she does.”

    After a lingering gaze at Tina, Kate blushes and looks away. ”Anyway, I wanted to ask you out, but based on how you were looking at your ex-wife at that party, I’m guessing that I would be wasting my time. Please tell me if I’m reading it wrong….”

    Tina smiles and gently shakes her head. ”You’re not…”

    ”Damn,” Kate mutters with a chuckle. She then turns to face Tina. ”So, are you two back together?”

    Tina chuckles and shakes her head. ”It’s complicated…we’re in that unofficial gray area right now.”

    A slow smile spreads across Kate’s face. ”So, you’re not seeing other people while you figure your shit out?”

    1. I’m so happy for this update and what for update.

      Finally they had the much needed talk before moving on. So much emotion and heartbreak but so needed to discuss, put it to the past and choose the “All”. Sorry Kate, you will get the nothing, hope you find your own the love of your life.

      And Michelle is still hoping to win back Bette, it’s not going to happen, find yourself a new woman.

      Really really well written chapter. Loved it ❤️

    3. Woow, an update, what a pleasant surprise! Finally Bette and Tina have put the tastings on the table to start clean. It will be funny when Bette has to attend the double date with Alice without wanting to be there.

      Hmmmmm . . . I say maybe Chelly ends up w/’Ol Gia. And perhaps giving custody of Micky to Bette???? Nawww, she wont do that. Micky is THE one ink she’ll have to Bette. 4get I even brought it up y’all
