Sam was still on cloud nine due to the dance marathon that she did with the blonde that she didn’t notice that the blonde was unusually quiet.
“I bet you can dance until dawn…” Sam stopped talking when she realized that the blonde had stopped walking. She furrowed her brows and turned around to face the blonde.
“Tina what’s up? Did I say something wrong?” Sam asked as she walked closer to the blonde. When she was just a few steps away from the blonde, Tina walked towards Sam and grabbed her face and gave her a kiss.
Sam was so shocked that her eyes grew big but then after a few seconds she closed her eyes and found herself responding to the blonde’s kiss. Sam’s eyes remained close, it was the kiss that she had been waiting for a long time.
“Sam I want to be honest with you, you know everything about me. I still have feelings for Bette… you know that. But you have become an important part of my life and you were there for me when I needed someone to talk to. And I’m not saying this just because I’m grateful for everything that you’ve done for me…I like you but not just a friend… I can’t guarantee that everything will work fine with us but I want to try things with you…see where it goes… if that’s okay with you?”
A playful smirk showed on Sam’s face and said “So are you saying you want to date me?”
Tina held her gaze and replied “Yes”
Sam’s playful smirk turned to a bright and dazzling smile
“I would love that…”

It’s been three days since she arrived in Shawnee and Kit immediately fell in love with the place. The laid back environment that the town has to offer which was a big contrast to the busy and fast faced environment in NYC and Michigan which she found so utterly refreshing.
She was somehow familiar with the place because Bette had toured her around and showed her the best places so that whenever she felt like strolling by herself then she already knew where to go to.
She just came out of a book store and saw a teenage boy from across the street giving flyers to all the passersby. She got curious so she went to him and asked about what the flyer was all about. The teenage boy just smiled at her and pointed the big building on the corner. Kit smiled back and suddenly she remembered her son, Peter and thought that the teenage boy and her son would have been of the same age. The memory of her son brought immense pain to her and she silently prayed to god to see him once again.
“I’m sorry but Danny can’t speak but the flyer is about our community school and we are looking for more volunteers to help the less fortunate kids and Danny is actually one of our students”
Kit gave the smiling woman who was standing in front of her a good look, she was a beautiful and she could see the kindness in her eyes “That’s amazing, I would love to know more about your school”
“Great I would love to show you around, by the way I’m Tina Kennard” the blonde laid her hand out to Kit.
Kit smiled and took the blonde’s hand then shook it, she didn’t know why but her instincts told her that this woman would be a really good friend to her.
“Sure that would be lovely”

I’m going to be honest, I really wish you hadn’t revealed the end of this story. But, you’re promising the element of surprise, so I’ll keep reading. Thanks for posting and continuing to share your story. Cheers
phacey thank you for the update. I so look forward to new chapters on this story even though it’s so heartbreaking. I’m curious to know what happened with all the friendships between Bette, Tina, Alice and Shane and also Sam and Sarah. Are they having to choose sides? Now Kit is in the mix and her relationship with Tina will certainly impact her relationship with Bette (good or bad I suppose we have yet to see). I hate that Sam and Sarah settled knowing they will never have the hearts of the women they love, but at least they are being honest which is a far cry from how Bette and Tina are with each other. If only they had that honesty when they met so much hurt could have been avoided. Thanks for keeping it going. You are doing a great job.

Great update. I wish that Tina had given herself some time to discover if there was any one else she might have wanted to date rather than go for Sam and eventually break her heart when it doesn’t work out. And now to learn that Bette still thinks of Tina when she is with Sarah. I just wish they had been honest with each other about their feelings, at least Tina was honest but Bette wasn’t honestwith neither Tina nor Sarah. This is going to cause so many heartaches before they get together, which could have been avoided. I still want to know what Bette was going to say to Tina that day they met because I think it would have changed how their relationship ended even if Bette wanted to take a “trial run” with Sarah. I know trial run is a terrible thing to say but it is what it is. This will sound terrible but Bette should have just dated both of them before going to bed with either of them. I think she would have learned where her heart wanted to be without sex complicating everything. Now she will get to hear about Tina without realizing it is Tina, until Kit tells her. As we know, yes, they will have a lifelong friendship. I really want to see where this story goes. Can hardly wait. Thanks for posting.
So Kit and Tina meet unaware that there’s this connection to the woman they both love for different matters of the heart; Bette. This should be interesting. Can’t wait for more.

Yes another post! You know phacey i’ve read a lot of tibette fanfics and most of the time if not all the time writers would picture a bad image of the third or fourth wheel in tibette ship just to bring Bette and Tina together. I’m a real tibette fan but in this story the way you write the Sarah and Sam characters so far it’s making me hard to decide whether i want tibette to get back together or they are just better off with their current love interests. i also loved the way you paint all the characters in such fashion where you allow the readers to see not only their good side but also their flaws making them more humans to me. i know that it’s going to be a long road for B&T but no matter how bumpy it’s gonna be i’ll stick around because i just simply loved this. Thanks phacey and i can’t wait to see how this story unfolds. take care.Ava
thankyou for the up-date,although it kills me to see bette and tina with anyone else, i trust you to not keep us wating too long for them to re-unite,,, on what you have said about susan boyle i can whole heartly agree with you, she has an amazing voice, i live just 20 minutes from her,and like many others hope that she continues to get the proper support so that she can keep enjoying the talent that she has and realises the enjoyment she gives to other..x
hope there is drama between this two and let them rekindle their love with each other again.PPS!

Tina should find other way to forget Bette, but not to be with Sam knowing that Sam was always impassioned by her. Because the same would be wrong if Bette only stay with Tina if Sarah didn’t have interest in her. Moreeeeeeeee :)
