"Let me try." Callie said as she slowly knelt beside her unconscious mother.

"What are you going to do?" Tina asked. She watched Callie’s eyes to fire red. Callie extended her hand over Bette. Her hand began to glow red-orange. After a couple of seconds Bette’s took a huge breath and her eyes popped open.

"Oh my God. What happened? Where’s Callie?" She said looking around confused.

"I’m right here. We are all right here." Callie said.

"It’s over Bette." Tina said.

"Baby your arm. Your bleeding." Bette said.

"I’ll be fine. As soon as Jack or Will heals it." Callie said.

"But Jack can’t." Tina said. She watched her soon toddle over to Callie. He placed his hand over her shoulder and smiled. His hand glowed the same red-orange color as Callie’s. After a couple of seconds Callie’s shoulder was completely healed.

"Thanks Buddy." She said giving Jack a huge hug.

"Sissy all better." He said.

"Yep. I’m all better." She said.

"Callie why didn’t you run. I told you to run." Bette scolded.

"Because I am done running. We are done running. If I hadn’t fought y’all would have died trying to stop them. I know you want to protect me but you can’t anymore. Not from them, and no matter where you take us they’ll find us. It’s our destiny to fight." Callie said.

"Destiny." Jack said.

"Yeah mom We’re okay. Papa trained us well." Will said.

"He did?" Bette asked a little confused.

"He knew that you didn’t want us to ever have to fight, but he knew a time would come when we couldn’t avoid it. The time has come." Callie said.

"I know I just want to always be able to protect all of you from being hurt in any way." Bette said indicating that she was talking about Tina and Jack as well as Callie and Will.

"I don’t need you to protect me anymore. I’m okay. I’m going to be okay, but there is one thing that I need from you from both of you, and Jack and Will need it too." Callie said.
