    Susan talks to Tina; Candyass talks to Helena; Tina asks Bette an important question…Get ready for a smack down!

     

    A few moments passed. 

     

    “Baby, do you have to think about the answer?”

     

    “No, noI mean YES, YES!!”

     

    “Good thing, Porter.  You know I did give you a daughter so you better make an honest woman of me.”

     

    “Tina Kennard, yes, I’ll marry you, but I’d like one favor.”

     

    “What’s that, baby?”

     

    Bette raised one eyebrow, stood up and pulled Tina up with her.

     

    Tina recognized that look in Bette’s eyes.  They wouldn’t be getting to sleep for a good long while.

     

    “I’d like to recreate the wedding night right now.”

     

    Tina put her arms around Bette’s neck, pulled her in for one very long, hot and sensuous kiss.  She made her way to Bette’s ear and whispered:

     

    “I’m waiting, Bette. And oh, so ready”

     

     

            * *

     

     

    “Listen, you’re beginning to make me sorry I even asked you anything about this.”  Helena barked into the phone.  Christ, this ***** is unnerving.

     

    “I told you to call me when you accomplished something.  Telling me you’re going to do something is worthless information..yes, well, that’s not the way I see things getting donewhen “she” calls me I’ll know you’ve succeeded, not one second before.”

     

    Helena pressed End and threw her cell phone across the room.  Luckily, it landed on the couch.

     

    “What an impetuous child!” Helena yelled to no one but herself.  She knew all along it would be a gamble contacting Jewel.  That’s why Susan was first on her list and she knew all along, Susan would be the one to deliver.  Helena was just used to having contingency plans in place and, well, ‘the carpenter’ had it in for Bette, so it seemed the logical choice. 

     

    Helena stopped pacing and just accepted that Jewel would ***** this up royally – and Susan would not.

    Saturday morning arrived and it was going to be a beautiful California day.

     

     

    Bette slowly awakened, reached behind her and felt Tina’s warm sleeping body next to her. 

     

    Ummmyes, all’s right with the world because my world is right next to me.

     

     

    Tina stirred as she felt Bette’s hand touch her.  She turned over to be met with those chocolate eyes.  Her mind in that instant went back to the first time she looked into those eyes and how she was mesmerized by them.  She remembers saying, “Hi” and not much of anything else.  There are times to this day, even back when they were going through the worst of times, when she would look into those eyes and felt she could lose herself forever in that gaze.

      Yay they’re getting married!! *Does little happy dance* I know that they have been for years but they might as well make it official. I can’t wait to see Candace fall flat on her face. I hope everything works out right! *Crosses fingers*

    5. Love this. What in the heck is Alice conjuring up? Maybe she will get the connection of Susan to Helena before anything wild happens or before Susan can get Tina to Helena. Please let all the decils in this story go to jail or to Hell, preferably. Just so long as they are out of our girls hair. Great job. Post soon please. Thanks.

    7. Just what is Candance up to? Damn Helena is definitely playing with fire. Susan promised Dawn to protect the nice ones…will she keep her promise? Let’s hope Susan takes the high road in the end and help Bette & Tina get rid of Helena for good. I really hope Al’s snooping sense kicks in and she finds out about Susan. RC…thanks for this DRAMA filled update — always a pleasure.
