“Hi.” That’s all Susan was capable of getting out – one word, one syllable. Miracle of miracles a slow song began playing. And another equally as impressive word escaped her mouth: “Dance?” Dawn just nodded her head yes.
Susan took Dawn’s hand and guided her to the dance floor. It was instantly the dance of two people whose bodies had a familiar link, a passionate melding of curve against curve, breast against breast. They were strangers who had traveled different roads in life; neither one knowing that Destiny had mapped out and marked the crossroads where they would meet – this night, this bar, slow-dancing and not even knowing one another’s names.

The blinking of her cell phone brought her back to the present – Blink..I miss youBlink, 1 missed callBlink, I miss youbut her mind wasn’t quite ready to leave the past

The music and song had long ended but the women still clung to one another. They at least had exchanged names.
“Susan, maybe we should sit down?”
“I don’t know that I can separate from you, Dawn. Does that sound silly?”
“Not at all.” She smiled. “After all, we are on a first name basis now.”
Susan pulled Dawn closer and whispered in her ear, “I would like to get to know you. Do you think I can do that?”
Her words and breath felt like feathers running lightly across her ear guided by a warm breeze. Dawn felt a tingling sensation begin at the top of head, spread down her spine and out to her extremities. I’d like you to know every inch of me
“Yes, I’d like to get to know you also. Why don’t we meet for dinner sometime during the week or next weekend? How does that sound?”
“Sounds like I wish it were ‘sometime’ already.” Susan answered.
They dated for several weeks and they did get to know one another. Their physical contact didn’t go beyond good old teenage necking, each waiting for the other to take it to the next level.
It was late one Friday night and Susan was dropping Dawn off at her condo.
Susan kissed Dawn lightly and said, “Tomorrow night?”

Tina continued to make sure Bette’s mouth was occupied until Alice’s mouth ran out of gas.
Damn! That means Tina had Bette’s lips occupied for a lonnnnng time!
Fuck! Helena awoke with a start. Well, that’s not a good thing…I can’t be thinking of her in that way…in a loving way. This is about payback.
Helena’s plan is going to unravel and it may be at her own hands
Susan kissed Dawn lightly and said, “Tomorrow night?”
Dawn put her hands on either side of Susan’s face. “How about tomorrow morning?”

Its apparent that D & S found love in very much the same way as B & T. I hope that Susan will find a way to see dawn’s early light (pun intended) and realize that the relationship she is going to destroy for good, could be her own. I mean, if she hadnt of effed up so badly, how would she feel if someone were trying to take Dawn away from her.
It seems that she has a huge heart like our B does; so maybe, just maybe she will go to B & T before it is too late.
so S&D had the same kind of strong love between B&T. hmm..hope Dawn would change some things here..

Hubba bubba mama, you crack me up. Though I do have to agree, Bette is definitly a hubba bubba. So since S&D are the slightly younger versions of B&T I think ole Dawn needs to get her ass out to L.A. before Susan does something really stupid. Love how this is getting more interesting. And, Alice even when she annoys you, ya gotta love her. Were waiting.
Ibelieve that Dawn will be the downfall Of Helene She will talk Susan into tell Bette and Tina and they will go alone with it and Candace will be out in the cold also ,In the mean time Old faithfull Alice will dig and find out more and tell Bette and Tina. thanks
RC…yes, I agree with cpq…there is a parallel between Susan’s situation and Bette’s. But how can Susan justify her actions to bring harm to an innocent party and still think it’s business. How does she think that doing this will bring Dawn back to her…she’s basically gambling with people’s lives now and not money…well she’ll get money for doing this deed. She’s made a deal with the Devil (Hells) and she thinks she’ll be free and clear at the end of the transaction…pity the fool who believes or trusts in the Devil’s word. Thanks for the chapter.
Poor,stupid Susan LaFay – she’s the one that just might get bitten in the ass if she doesn’t get her head on straight. Oh well, like my momma used to say “Stupid is as stupid does!”
Hopefully Dawn can reason with Susan and make her realise what she’s about to do. If not, I hope Dawn sees the need to get involved to warn TnB or the Shane&Alice Guard Squad before the poop hits the fan!
okay, let me get this right. Susan (similiarly to Bette) was in a loving long term relationship where she screwed thing up but STILL LOVES her former partner Dawn and want to eventully win her back. So, she thinks that she is going to be able to do this deed for Helena and return to Dawn, explain away what she has done, and make happy. She is sooooooo totally STUPID, and I define stupid to be when you know better but choose to not do better. So she expects to be able to return to Dawn and tell her that she sold her soul and totally distroyed someone else’s family and happiness so that she could return to her and be happy–NOT. If Dawn has any morals or a good heart, she will not go for it. At thid point the only way that Susan can reclaim her life and love is to devoluge Helena’s hedious plan. I hope that Dawn is able to save her love by revealing Helena’s plan and working a counter attack with the girls. Very interesting twist, please continue.
Perhaps Dawn in Susan’s life again will help her see that the work she is doing for Helena is in fact morally wrong. It’s not business, its screwing w/ someone’s life.
There could be a way for everyone to get what they want in the end: Dawn come to CA to see Susan; Susan tell Bette and Tina about Helena’s plan; B & T play along until Susan gets paid and then back to Jersey; B & T pounce on Helena and kick her ass.
At least, that’s what I would like to see, idealy. However, I have no doubts in my mind that you will figure out something most clever.
