UmmmIm glad you were with me, babe.  Tina started to cry.

T, whats the matter?  Shes beautiful and shes okay.

I know. I flashed back to Monday when I thought I lost you.

But Im here, baby, Im here.  And now Angelica Elizabeth Porter-Kennard is here with us, so everything is just perfect.   Dont cry.

Just then the door opened and a nurse carrying their daughter walked over to Tina.  Well, now, Mom, time to start nursing this little one.  The nurse showed Tina what to do and little Angelica took to it like an old pro. 

Tina smiled down at the caf au lait baby in her arms.  Bette got up, leaned down and kissed Angelicas head and then softly kissed Tina and whispered, Everything I have ever wanted is right here.

Bette told Tina she was going to go outside and call everyone.  When she walked into the waiting room, six women came running over to her. DidshehavethebabyyetWhereissheHowsTinaWhatshernameCanweseeher?”

Bette was beaming that thousand watt smile.  She couldnt stop.  Stay here.  Ill be right back.  

Bette opened the door to Tinas room.  Angelica had finished nursing and was asleep in Tinas arms.

Hey, T.  Do you feel all right to have a little company from the family?  Theyre bustin a gut out here.  But if youre not up to it, Ill tell them to wait until Angelica is back in the Nursery.

No, babe, let them in.  I want them to meet the newest member of the family.

Bette turned around to everyone and said, Okay, everyone, come on in.

They all gathered around the bed. All smiling and speechless. 

This, everyone, is Angelica Elizabeth Porter-Kennard.

Tina motioned for Bette to take Angelica.  This was the first time Bette held her daughter since she came into this world.  She was awestruck and her eyes filled with tears as she thought she nearly destroyed her chance of this moment ever happening.   She walked over to Kit.  And this, Angelica, is the first of your Aunts who have been waiting to meet you.  Bette handed Angelica to Kit. Everyone waited their turn to hold this little miracle.
