Who is Tina?

Everyone turned and looked at Tina.

I am.  Tina was crying now not knowing what the next words were going to be.

Ms. Porter ..

Bette, my BetteBettes her name Tina sobbed.

The doctor walked over to her and knelt down seeing her obvious distress.

Shes been in and out of consciousness since she arrived.  All she has been saying is, Tell Tina I love her.  Shes lost a good deal of blood, Tina.  Were getting some into her now.   There are two superficial cut wounds, one on her neck and one across her stomach, but she received a severe cut at her femoral artery.  Do you know your blood type, Tina?

A, Tina muttered.

Im her sister. Im B, Kit said through tears.

Im O Positive and Ive recently been tested and cleared for any type of diseases,  Shane said. Because I work with scissors, the studio where I work asked for the testing.

The doctor stood up and turned around to face Shane.  Great.  Youre the winner as a Universal Donor.   And Bette is Type O and can only receive Type O.  How do you feel about donating blood for Ms. Porter – Im sorry, Bette?

Take whatever you need, Shane said.

Come with me.  Bette is in surgery now.  Ill come back down as soon as we have some more news, everyone.  The doctor walked over to Tina.  Tina, shes in serious condition but she so obviously is fighting to hang on for you, so you hang in there, too, okay?  Due to the quick thinking on the person who saved her and stopped further bleeding, the paramedics got to her in time.   Everyone was grateful for this caring doctor.

Everyone turned to Tina.  It wasnt said but they were so concerned about the distress and its effect on her pregnancy.   And they were just plain scared of the outcome for Bette.  None of them could bear to think of Bette dyingthey just couldnt.

Just then the door opened and the detective returned.  Just a couple of questions.  Do any of you know or have an idea why Faye Buckley held a grudge against Ms. Porter?
