Then Carmen got up, stood next to her, and grabbed onto her arm gently

Shane looked at her speechless

" And you remember today, you told Coach Long that you picked me over basketball. And Shane, I’ve never felt so important to someone before, thank you for that "

Shane did a little half smiled but kept her attention at Carmen’s hand, she looked over at the GMT Rolex she gave her when she asked her to be her girlfriend. Then she remembered

Carmen stared at her with a ‘ your so sweet ‘ look, Shane saw the expression and handed her the box. Carmen took it and opened it slowly.

" OMG, babe ! " Carmen cheered excitedly as she took the 14K Two-Toned Diamond Heart Necklace out of the case. Shane chuckled slightly

" It’s beautiful, thank you, but you really didn’t have to do this "

" I know, but I wanted to, I really like you and I’m really lucky to have you no matter what you say "

" Okay let me settle this, we’re both lucky, I have a girlfriend who cares and who does cute things for me, and your lucky because you have a girlfriend who’s always going to thank you properly after you do cute things for her. " she said with a sexy smirk

" Oh really ? " Shane asked amused

" Yeah, and I am going to show you my thanks after you put this necklace on me " Carmen teased

Shane sighed " Ahh, okay fine " Shane obliged

She took the necklace, went behind her, and tied it around her neck. After Shane put it on Carmen touched the two heart pendants on the necklace.

" Does it look okay ? " Carmen asked

" It looks great " Shane said completely forgetting their previous conversation
