Love and Affection Chapter 23

Tina’s POV

Oh god, do I just talk about this or do I just wait?  I mean we are engaged..and we are going to plan our wedding.  I should wait right?  Ask her if my brother being the donor for our first child..oh god..so weird..and kind of shit, gross…ew I never really thought about it..fuck.  Great she is looking at me.  I can’t eat I am so nervous.

“Tina..?”  fuck she said something..I heard her talking and now she is asking if something..

“Yea?”  Bette looks at me with her worried and I see some annoyance in her voice.

“T, you alright?  You’ve been quiet and you’re not eating your dinner?  Do you not like what you made?”  Fuck…ok just say something.

“Yea, I am just out of it.  I have a lot in my head.  Sorry..how was your day?”   Ok, I smiled and I think she is buying my story.

“um, My day was good.  Nice try T, what is up?”  Great…how can she know me so well.

“Bette, it’s nothing, just thinking about the wedding and work. …”  Crap, why am I crying?

“Tina, baby..what is wrong?”  Bette please don’t come over..let me blink them away.

“Bette, I am fine, just some hormones..it will pass.”  I am now annoyed…it’s Bette she understands.  She loves me.

“ok Tina, just know I will listen.”  Bette gives me a warm smile and those endearing eyes that make me melt.

Later that evening

“Bette?”  Tina walked in the living room and found Bette passed out on her laptop.  Tina closed her laptop and put on the coffee table.

“Baby..get up..lets get you to bed.”  Tina sat on the edge of the coach next to Bette..stroking her face and pushing a lock of hair behind her ear.  Tina felt so close to Bette when they were just there sitting..no words just looks of love and support.

Bette woke up slowly and smiled with her eyes closed.  Bette grabbed Tina and pulled her on top of her. “mm now this is better..don’t move T, I just want you close to me.  You seem so far away today..I love you and nothing will change that..baby believe that.”  Bette held Tina close and stroking her hair and rubbing her back lovingly.  Tina began to cry and feel her emotions of need to feel Bette and support.  Bette held her tighter.  “Babe, don’t cry..it can’t’ be that bad..baby, let me make it better?”  Bette looked up at Tina and saw the evident tears she could hear.  Bette cupped Tina’s face and kissed her lips softly.
