"Are you guys going tonight?" Kerry asked.
"I was trying to talk her into it, but I think she is determined not to go." Laurie said.
"I said I had to study, and you know we promised Aunt Kit that we would go to the Planet tonight if we went anywhere." Jess said.
"Well lets go to the Planet then. I don’t care where we go as long as we get out of here for awhile." Laurie said.
"Fine You win. But let’s go to the planet." Jess said.
"good we haven’t been there in awhile." Laurie said.
"What’s the planet?" Kerry asked.
"It Jess’s aunt’s café slash club in West Hollywood." Laurie said.
"Wait isn’t that where Tegan and Sara are playing tonight." Kerry said.
"Yeah." Jess said climbing down the ladder to her top bunk.
"I love them." Kerry said.
"You do. You don’t seem like the type." Laurie said.
"Some of us listen to them before every game. We tried to get tickets to seem them tonight but they were sold out." Kerry said.
"Those tickets don’t mean much. Aunt Kit sells them so she will know how many to expect. All you are paying for is your cover charge to get in." Jess said.
"So are you saying that we could still get in?" Kerry asked.
"I didn’t say that. You would have to wait in line outside, but usually about 25 people from the line get in, but if you go with us you will get in with out a doubt." Jess said.
"Is that an invitation?" Kerry asked.
"Yeah if you want to come you can." Jess said.
"Cool. I am going to tell everyone else." Kerry said. she left the room.
"That was good of you considering how they have been dogging us lately." Laurie said.
"Yeah well they do that to all rookies and it feels good to nice things for other people. Especially the ones that you admire." Jess said.
"You are such a good person." Laurie said walking towards Jess. She put her arms around her. "I love you so much." Laurie said.
"I love you too babe. Will you wear that dress you bought last week tonight. I can’t wait to see it on you." Jess said.
"Only if you promise to dance with me tonight." Laurie said.
"Deal." Jess said.

I’m glad to see another side of shannon. I have always been a little curious as to how she feels. And Jess said she loved Laurie! That makes me happy! Young love is wonderful! Awesome chapter! Till next Thursday..ciao!

I agree that Shannon gets slighted sometimes. I often wondered how Shannon felt about her place in the family. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
Shannon is getting lost in the shuffle. She needs to sit and talk to Bette and Tina about what she is feeling. I don’t think Bette is doing this to Shannon on purpose. For so long Shannon was not a part of her life and then she is. I have always wondered how Bette would deal with Shannon knowing that she was a product of a rape. I do not believe that Bette loves her any less than her other kids but there maybe some hesitation in allowing Shannon all the way in.
they must to know that sometimes Shannon feel out of place in order to try to fix this, they love her so much but sometimes B&T forget her because she all the time has a good behavior.
You know, I had sometimes wondered how Shannon felt. Sometimes it does seem as if she’s on the outside looking in, and this was before Jess was in that accident. Can’t wait till next week so we get another chapter! =D
I agree with Lammy on how Shannon must feel and it is only going to get worst it everyone except her goes to the Planet (she still thinks that everyone is going to the big party). Bette needs to tell Tina tha Shannon came by and they BOTH need to get a clue. They often focus on Jess and what she is going through, where is Shannon’s time or little piece of the world. They need to plan a family visit to campus for lunch with their daughters and make time to talk to Shannon :o) Please continue.

This was a great chapter and it showed us how Shannon has been feeling kinda left out. Always wondered about how she was feeling with everything that was goin on. Now Bette and Tina need to have more time with Shannon and have a talk with her about not being left out.I’ve been out of townfor the last few days and have just caught up with all the chapters of the last two weeks. They were wonderful, you let us know the family’s reaction to when Bette came back home, especially Tina. I thought she would be the one to faint when she saw Bette standing there, was a little surprised to see that Kit fainted too. Happy that just about everyone is doing all right. Just a little time spent with Shannon and talking should make everything okay with her also. Great chapters.
Angie is cute and just like Jess. Now we know how Shannon feel and let see if she will tell Bette and Tina about her feeling. Jess is cool. Ok post soon please, thanks!
