    Bette and Tina Leave Jess Alone with the boys and Angelica for the weekend.

    Previously:

    “Jess please don’t make this an issue. They can’t so you are going to have to keep this weekend it won’t kill you.” Bette said.

    “Fine.” Jess said and sat down in her chair.



    Jess stood on the porch holding Angelica. Ian and Teddy were sitting on the steps.

    “Come on T we are going to miss our flight.” Bette called. She was putting the last back in the trunk.

    “Okay bye kids. You boys behave and listen to Jess. Bye girls I love you.” She said kissing the girls and then the boys.

    “Love you too.” Jess said.

    “I want to come.” Teddy pouted.

    “I know you do sweetie. I wish you all could come with us, but you have school on Monday.” Tina said.

    “T come on.” Bette called getting in the car.

    “Okay you have all the numbers.” She said.

    “Yes.” Jess said.

    “we will call when we land.” Tina said walking to the car.

    “Bye kids. Love you.” Bette called blowing kisses at all of them.

    “Bye.” They called. Tina got in the car and the pulled off.

    “I still don’t know if this was such a good idea.” Tina said.

    “Relax babe everything is going to be fine. They have all of our numbers. Shane or Helena one will be next door all weekend. Kit is going to bring dinner every night and make sure everything is going smoothly. They know the rules. We are going to have fun this weekend. We are going to the opening tonight and then we tomorrow we are going to visit Shannon. We will be home Monday before they get out of school.” Bette said giving Tina a pat on the knee.

    “I know but still. Jess can barely get herself to school on time.” Tina said.

    “I know that is why I called the school and told them that they might be late.” Bette said.

    “What haven‘t you thought of?” Tina said.

    “Well I haven’t thought about all the things I am going to do to you. Wait Yes I have.” Bette said winking at Tina.

    “Come boys let’s go inside.” Jess said.

    2. Happy birthday! This was an excellent chapter. The boys realized that Jess was not the same person as before the accident. I wonder if they have told the doctor this information. Loved the hotel room scene with Bette and Tina. Jess alone with Laurie that would be very difficult to follow the house rules. Glad that you posted tonight.

    3. Happy…belated birthday now I guess. lol I forgot how old the boys are now. I keep thinking they are 3 for some reason. O.o I hope they get to play poker with the adults soon and kick their butts. lol

We saw this for the first time on The L Word, seeing Bette’s dismay after she and Tina fought at the Planet over ‘ze penis…”. Bette seems the strong one, but Tina totally controls her with her reactions. What does this have to do with this story? When I read the confident manner with which your Bette comports herself in bed, knowing her lover’s needs and dispatching her to paradise in a timely and confident fashion, I wished it were true for the show. …Alas, if wishes were horses, I would bet on and win a fortune at the Kentucky Derby. …Thanks for that pleasant interlude!
