"Great." She said.

"What?" Cat asked.

"Look. I swear they need a new trick." Jess said. Jess knew this trick very well. She had been the one to teach it to them. She reached for the scissors on the shelf at their feet.

"I didn’t hear them do that." Cat said.

"Me either." Jess said.

"You better wake everyone so they don’t jump into it when you cut that string." Cat said.

"Hey Guys." She said loudly.

"It’s early." Piper mumbled. Shannon rolled over.

"Wake up and Look, but don’t move." Jess said even louder. Shannon rolled over with her eyes open.

"What the… Oh I can’t believe they did that again. So predictable." Shannon said.

"You got it Jess." Piper said.

"Yeah hold on." Jess said moving over Angelica. "You guys ready?" She asked.

"Yeah go ahead." Shannon said pulling back the curtain. Piper did the same.

"Here it goes." Jess said cutting one string that caused what looked like 50 million strings unhook and fall to the floor which caused the water balloons and buckets of water and cups of powder to hit the floor causing a huge mess. The noise woke Angelica up.

Bette and Tina burst into the room laughing until they saw that the girls were safe in their cubbies.

"I told you we should have done something else." Tina said. Josie walked in with mops and buckets.

"Well girls it was a great plan but I am afraid you made one mistake. You did it on the person who taught it to you. Now here don’t let that crap sink into the carpet." Josie said.

"But." Tina said.

"No buts you made the mess and you can clean it up those are the rules." Josie said. The girls were giggling in their beds.

"They didn’t have to clean up their mess last night." Bette argued.

"We didn’t make a mess. We accounted for that." Jess said walking past them into the bathroom.

"Come on little one let’s go get some breakfast." Josie said picking Angelica up.

"Big Mess." She said.

"Yes it is a big mess." Josie said walking past Bette and Tina.

The girls filed out of the room hoping to get on breakfast.

"I can’t believe we got stuck with clean up." Bette said.

"Why is that? Technically we made the mess." Tina said.

"Always follow the rules huh?" Bette said.

"No not always but when we agreed to play, we agreed to the rules and if we want the kids to follow the rules which we do, because I bet you anything that the boys are just itching to put some live critter in our bed." Tina said.

"I’d much rather have clean up than live critters?" Bette said partly poking fun at Tina’s choice of words.

"Funny. Now let’s think how we can get them." Tina said.

"You can try but it will never happen." Jess said coming out of the bathroom.

"You think so huh." Bette said.

"I do." Jess said.

"We have tricks you’ve never seen before." Tina said.

"I doubt it. You’re forgetting that I know was involved in all your pranks. And I can’t think of anything that you haven’t done that would follow the rules. (She headed for the door but turned in the doorway.) Oh and by the way I knew that you guys were going to this that’s why I left the door open. It won’t be so easy for you to get into next time." She said and headed down the stairs.

"You know she just got us twice in less than 5 hours." Bette said.

"I know. We taught her well." Tina said taking pride.

"Maybe to well." Bette said remembering all the pranks and tricks she and Tina had taught Jess over the years.

"I hope someone gets them this year." Tina said continuing to clean.

"We are going to do. We just have to come up with a great plan." Bette said.
