After they hung up Tina left the office to change for dinner.
"Mom. I wanted to get there early so I could show Madonna what I learned at band practice today." Gillian said.
"Okay. I’ll hurry." Tina said and she did just that.
"You aren’t wearing that." Tina said. Gillian had on Blue Jeans and blue tank with a khaki jacket over it. Her blonde hair curled and rested on her shoulders.
"Why not?" She said.
"I guess it’s okay." Tina said.
"Sure it is. What’s going on with you? You seem nervous." Gillian said.
"I’m fine. Just a rough day at work that’s all." Tina said.
"Oh okay. Let’s go." Gillian said grabbing her back pack which she carried almost everywhere.
They drove quietly through their neighbor hood. Madonna lived just on the other side. They pulled up and got out of the car.
"See I told you they were coming." Madonna said to her daughter who adored Gillian.
"Hey Gillian come see what I got yesterday." Lola said.
"Okay." Gillian said and followed the young girl into the house.
"Sorry we’re late." Tina said.
"You’re not late everyone’s not coming for another hour." Madonna said.
"Really." Tina said smiling.
"I thought we could use some time to catch up. We’ve both been so busy lately." Madonna said.
Madonna and Tina meet when Madonna was filming Truth or Dare. Tina’s studio produced it. They had become good friends.
"So tell me who is she." Madonna said.
"Who’s who?" Tina said trying to play it off.
"Who’s the woman who has put this grin on your face?" She asked.
"Her name is Bette Porter and there isn’t anything going on. She owns an Art Gallery. We are going to do a documentary on it. It’s strictly business." Tina said.
"Yeah right." Madonna said giving her a look.
"Okay. I would mind if it was more pleasure than business but I haven’t even met the woman yet." Tina said. They settled in the Den where Tina filled her in on everything that was going on.
"Hey honey. Oh Hi Tina." Guy said.
"Hey Guy. When am going to get to see the latest cut." Tina said.

You can’t pull the wool over some kids eyes…and they won’t forget when they ask you a questions and you change the subject…lol. I am loving this…who wouldn’t want to chat it up with Madonna as a neighbor or friend…awesome story.
