    Author Notes:

    Rosita gives Alice some advice and Alice does the same – Tina tells Cassandra what happened in the elevator with Bette, and Cass has her own secret – Kit, Jenny, Marina and Ivan talk – Quin does something very unQuin like –

     

                “I was sure I was going to die!  I kept thinking this is it!  I’m done. 
    No more family nothing!  And I
    panicked!  I admit it…”  She ran her hand through her hair, shaking.  Damn it she hadn’t wanted to blurt this out
    now.  It just came tumbling from her
    lips.

     

                Then Tina looked at Cass, and Cass was laughing. 
    Hard.  Her whole body shook as her
    shoulders pumped up and down in total laugher.

     

                “Cass?”  Cass put a hand up, trying desperately to not fall to the
    floor in a childish fit of giggles.

     

                “I kissed Candace… 
    Sort of as a joke…  Sort of to
    make her feel better…  I mean…  The roof was going to give way and her leg
    was pinned…  It just happened….”      Cass finally let her legs give way and Tina‘s eyes were wider than silver dollars.

     

                “What is it with this
    carpenter?”      Tina asked with a bit of sarcasm now she was
    pissed and     Cass looked up, an amused look on her face.

     

                “She’s cute.  I was trying to make her feel better.  You get Bette out of your system yet?”  Cass asked and Tina sank to the floor next to her,

     

                “You’re not pissed at me?”  Tina asked and Cass slung her arm around Tina, pulling her in close. 

     

                “No. 
    Look, you and     Bette share a long history, I had a feeling when you didn’t
    tell me more about what had happened during the quake.” 

     

                “Why are you so *****
    understanding?  I’m over looking that you
    swapped spit with the carpenter. 
    Otherwise I’d be jumping down your throat, getting in my car and going
    over to ***** slap her.  She really needs
    to stay the ***** away from my woman.  She
    got one and she most certainly cannot have the other.”      Tina said, and Cass smiled.

     

                “Because I love you.”  Cassandra said, Tina moved and straddled her kissing her lips
    and cupping her face.  They stared deep
    into each other’s eyes, ghost smiles on their lips.

     

                “Damn I am glad my mom and sister
    set us up.”      Tina said almost breathlessly.

     

                “You came into my store first.”  Cassandra reminded her, her hands moving up
    and down     Tina‘s back, caressing her strong muscles
    there.

     

                “That I did.”  Tina said as Dana and Shane came into the house. 
    They both stopped short as they saw the couple on the floor, wrapped up in
    each other.

    2. At least David is questioning the situation, I hope he puts a stop to whatever might happen next. FINALLY! Alice decides to fight for Quin. Hope she can remind Quin of what they once were to eachother. Loved Tina’s line “what is it about the carpenter” Anyone in her position would think the same thing. Rapid posting, I love it.

    3. I know I need to get up earlier……better yet, maybe I should get a life. HA! LOL….To answer your question, I read The Gathering, which was also awesome…..Most definitely looking forward to reading again. I always commented, but under a different name. Anyway, thanks for posting….always entertaining

    4. JADED, I finaly found you. Where the hell are the story you’ve written before. What happen? JadedRogue is not even listed anymore. Well at least you started all over again with my fav story. Now I have to read it all over again. And for the new reader. Buckled your seat belt, your on for one hell of a good ride. And by the way, you, new reader are luck like hell to have lot’s of chapter at the same time. I had to wait a week for an update last year when Janet first post this great story. ~wink at you Jaded~

    5. Doesn’t David know Quin is supposed to be gay??? Taking her back to his appartment, what is he thinking? Anyway, I loved both confessions of Tina and Cass, I really thought hell was yet again about to break loose. But they handled it very well. Wonder what plan Alice will come up with to get Quin back!
