Life: Altered 03.12 ~*~ Breathe In, Breathe Out

                “I’ve never been the other
woman Bette; this is new for me too.  I
don’t want it to end, it’s to real for it to end.”  Candace said, pulling Bette close and Bette
kissed her gently and she felt the hot tears spilling from her eyes.

                “You make me feel so
    alive….”  Bette sobbed, and Candace
held her, as they knelt to the floor, and Candace rocked her tears away,
smoothing her hair back from her pretty face as Bette cried about a
relationship that never should have been.

    ~*~*~*~*~*

It was a date, they’d been on six of
them, out to dance, play pool, walk the malls, and the back alley shops of
    Seattle
.  A date, no matter how she molded it, it had
been a date, and tonight, most definitely was a date.  She looked at herself in the mirror, dress
    casually
    Cass
had said, and Tina tossed her hair to the right.

“Casual my *****.”  She said and went back into the bedroom to
change clothes, yet again.  Her mother
    sat on Tina
‘s bed, a week before she went back to LA
and her mother wanted her to stay, she was getting to know her daughter all
over again.  It had been a fascinating
time, she’d seen her daughter with Bette, and always thought that they were
very much in love, but that Tina was being stifled in the relationship.  That her daughter had stopped blossoming when
    she’d been with
    Bette Porter
    .

“Christina, where are you guys going tonight?”  Eliza asked and Tina poked her head out of the bathroom.  Her mother always called her Christina when
she wanted to know something, or when she was about to drop a bomb on her.  Which one was it this time?

“I haven’t a clue.”  She said going back to change.  She threw the bra out of the door and Eliza
laughed, lying back on the bed, picking up a book that Tina’d been reading.  It was a thriller slash crime scene type book,
    so unlike her daughter.

“Oh.  Is this how you act when someone takes you
out?  A bundle of nerves?  It’s just a date Tina, why are you getting so
worked up over it?”  Eliza asked and Tina
came out, dressed in a black tee shirt, and faded jeans.  She gave her mother a funny look, dark eyes
    dancing with delight.

    1. Tina w/ Cassandra, Bette w/ Candace excellent pairings. Tina & Bette seem to function better w/ other people. I may be one of the few people who liked the character of Candace. I would like to see where you take this couple. Poor Shane hope she sends Steve’s ass to jail. Guess Cherie hasn’t visited (if she’s still alive), not surprised she was all about self.

    2. OH what a nice way to wipe the day out of my mind, I see I have a lot of JM reading to catch up on. OK and bette smells like wood LMAO!!! that was fucking hilarious. Alrighty off to read your other story.

    3. I feel so sad about Shane!!! She could talk to Bette and showed her that she made a big mistake!! I’d like Tina does not cheat Bette before she find out her infidelity. And I still want Bette feels a lot of guilty and pain!!!Nice post!!!
