– Yeah sure. Oh, what’s that on your shirt?!?

– What? Where!?

– … cautious huh?

–  Very funny Alice…

– Relax tiger, you’ll be fine. Trust me.

After some more joking around Alice finally left leaving a little less anxious Shane. It was ten to six already and that meant Carmen would be there any minute.

Shane was just pacing around when a knock was heard and went frantically to open the door. She stopped middtrack once it was open. Carmen was wearing a simply summer dress but it showed her curves just perfect. At least that was Shane thought. Her hair was down and open, and the mascara she was wearing accentuated her long eyelashes even more, droving her friend even more insane. Suddenly and again, Shane was entranced by Carmen’s beauty so much she couldn’t even blink. 

– mm… hi? – said a shy Carmen-

– …. Hi… – Shane was like hypnotized, shocked- you look… Carmen you look beautiful…

– Thanks – said Carmen beaming shyly– You look pretty formal yourself.

– Oh, I-I just, this was … the first thing I found… I just… that dress looks amazing on you… -said Shane lowering her voice- … come on in.

– Wow Shane! Look at this place! It looks amazing… you made all this?

– Uhm… actually Alice helped me. I wanted, you know, to.. to make it special ..I mean, you know, to thank you. To thank you properly.

– Well, I must say I’m impressed. I didn’t know you could do all this… – said Carmen beaming-

But Shane was quick to get the hint

– Oh, you didn’t? Well dear, there are a lot of things you still don’t know about me – She said winking an eye-

– Yeah? Like what…? I’m dying to know!

– You’ll see. Wait and see. 

After all, the sparkle wasn’t lost and Shane was just glad about it. They chated a little more and Carmen asked about Shane’s state. Suddenly she seemed more like a mother but that didn’t bother Shane, even more, she was happy.
