    Author Notes:

    Once again my Crossover disease is not getting better and I have crossed over the L word with yet another fanverse. Officer Dana Fairbanks is up against one of LA’s most notorious criminals, The Joker. She teams up with everyones favorite “Dark Knight.” I think it’s pretty obvious what I crossed it over with lol…eventually this will be a Danish fanfic.

    Carmen places her hand on Lara’s Shoulder and smiles.

    Carmen: I’m sure Dana will make it up to you.

    Alice (Scoffing): Yeah just don’t expect it to be soon. Dana was never one to make things up. Especially for girlfriends.

    The gang shot various glances and glares towards Alice’s direction but Lara, being the polite woman she is turned her gaze from the reporter.

    Alice: Oh sorry…my tongue sometimes takes on a life of it’s own.

    As if on cue, a tired looking browned hair woman with a 9 mm on her left side and her LAPD shield hanging from her neck joins the group of Ladies while she is talking onto her cell phone. Her groans and long face shows that she isn’t enjoying the conversation with the person on the other line.

    Dana: Yeah I know I’m not to happy about it either mom but this is important…I know…I…yeah I know I promised you guys but something‘s come up.

    Dana sighs as she quietly mouths a “hello“ to her friends as she sits next to her girlfriend.

    Dana:…not tonight, I have plans…O.k. love you too mom. Bye.

    Dana tiredly closes her cell phone as she was greeted with a kiss from her girlfriend.

    Lara: Long day baby?

    Dana sighs as she rubs her temples. She places her cell phone on the table as she takes a sip of Lara’s Ice tea.

    Dana: This Rupert Thorne case is killing me. Commissioner Gordon and I have been breaking our balls trying to nail this guy. And Jose Torres one of the main witness and testifiers gets killed.

    Dana leans back on the chair. The long weekend turned into a disaster for her as soon as she received a call from Commissioner Jim Gordon about the murder. What she hated most wasn’t the fact that an important element of their case was now gone, but breaking the trip that she had planned with Lara. A trip that they had scheduled a while back.

    Alice being the investigative reporter that she was knew that she had to take advantage of the situation.

    Alice(sitting up): Really? A Murder? Well that’s horrible. Anything you care to discuss like…leads…motives…
