    "Here you go, sweetie." Kit places the drink in front of Tina.

    "Um. I didn’t order this." Tina hesitated.

    "It’s from your admirer." Kit revealed.

    Tina chuckled. "My admirer?"

    Kit pointed to the table behind Tina, in the far end. Tina turned to see Bette smiling. The sexy blonde turned back to Kit and sighed, "Here we go, again." said Tina as she takes a sip of the drink. "This is really good." Tina admits, taking another sip. "It’s called BG’s passion fruit." Said Kit.

    "Hey you." Bette was now, behind Tina. Kit left to tend to her other customers.

    "Hey yourself." Tina said, as she turns to face Bette. Then continued, "I knew."

    "You knew what?" Bette asked.

    "I knew you were going to walk over here, and say ‘hey you’" Tina said with a friendly smile.

    Bette giggled. "Really? I’m that predictable?" Bette pause and acted like she was thinking. "So, then, can you guess what I’m going to do next?"

    "Well, not really. I’m not interested in what you’re going to do next, Bette" Tina joked.

    "Ouch. Tina. That hurts." Bette smiled.

    Tina laughs as she shakes her head, "Bye Bette" she said and walks over to an empty table. Tina, also, knew Bette was going to follow her to the empty table.

    Bette took the seat across from Tina, not waiting for an invite. She smiled and said ‘hey you, again’

    Tina laughs, "Again, hey yourself"

    "I knew" said Bette.

    "You knew what?"

    "I knew I could make you smile."

    "Laughing and smiling is two different matters, Bette."

    "Not true, both are derived from the same entity."

    "Entity?"

    "Yeah, our happiness. People smile, when they’re happy. People laugh, when they’re happy."

    "You make a good point, Bette."

    "Thanks, I always do." Bette smiled.

    They stared at one another, not realizing what had just transpired. They were feeling something, but can’t quite put their fingers on it. Finally, Tina broke the stare and silence, when she leaned in across the table, and whispers to Bette.

    "You are relentless, aren’t you, Bette?"

    Bette leaned in, meeting her halfway. Their lip just inches apart. "I am." Bette smiled.

    18. Dang, Tina did not leave Bette any wiggle room. Maybe one night of passion will change each other’s minds. Maybe Bette will not be able to walk away from Tina and Tina will find herself falling for Bette.
