    The image of Miss Tina Kennard walking away from Bette still lingers in Bette’s mind. Our hero was baffled that someone had said no to her. No one has ever denied Bette’s advances. Most of the time, Bette didn’t even have to say a word, but a small gesture like a nod would have the girls stampeding over to our hero, just to be able to breathe the same air as Bette. So, who did this Tina Kennard chick thinks she is? Bette Porter always, always get what she wants. "I’ll get you, Tina." Thought Bette. Our hero doesn’t show defeat, just another sign of weakness, she thought. So, Bette returned to her friends like nothing had happened.

    Food had already arrived when Bette got back to her friends. The gang ate, drank, laughed, just very much enjoying each other’s company. Then Bette caught the sexy blonde at another table diagonal from her. Our hero called for the waiter and asked him to send over a bottle of their best champagne to Tina and company. The waiter got right on it. Soon, Bette saw her waiter waltzing over to Tina’s table with her order.

    "What’s this?" Tina inquired.

    "Yeah, we didn’t ask for it." Jenny added.

    "It’s for you." The waiter placed the champagne on the table, then pointed to Bette’s table. They turned their attention to Bette’s table. When Bette saw that, she waved at Tina, and gave her the sweetest smile. The sexy blonde knew what Bette was trying to do. She had played this game before, so she chuckled and waved right back at Bette. Then she took out a piece of paper and pen from her purse, and scribbled something on it and asks the waiter to give the note to our hero.

    The waiter left Tina’s table, and made his way to Bette’s. He hands Bette the note. It read: ‘Thank you, but you should stop right now. It’s not going to happen.’ Bette chuckled at the note, at the woman who wrote it, at herself for enjoying this platonic encounter.

    Meanwhile, their friends saw the transaction between the two, and wonder what the heck was going on. Bette and Tina were confronted with same question by their friends. "Who is she?"

    18. Dang, Tina did not leave Bette any wiggle room. Maybe one night of passion will change each other’s minds. Maybe Bette will not be able to walk away from Tina and Tina will find herself falling for Bette.
