    "Tina Kennard, beautiful, sexy, and soon to be mine." Bette declared, staring intently at Tina.

    "Bette Porter, arrogant, relentless, and rejected." Tina stated smiling proudly at Bette.

    The next day, Jenny asked Tina what happened with her and Bette at Sadre’s. Tina didn’t say much about Bette after dinner. Then again, Tina always thought when you talk about something or someone, whether you want to admit it or not, it means that you care. Tina didn’t care, especially not about Bette. So, she didn’t see any reason to tell Jenny about the person whom she met for five minutes and shared a quick conversation with.

    "There’s really nothing to talk about Jenny." Tina shrugged. "She wanted to sleep with me, and I said no. End of story."

    "Oh." Jenny knew Tina, and when she said there’s nothing to talk about. Jenny believes her, because she knows that Tina would tell her if there is something. "Well, I just can’t believe you said no to Bette ‘takes no for an answer’ Porter!"

    They laughed.

    At The Planet, Dana and Shane were admiring the new faces coming in, while Alice tries to interrogate.

    "So, what’s the deal with you and that sexy blonde from last night, Porter?"

    "Nothing Al. Just another mountain I want to climb."

    "Well, you better come equipped, because she didn’t look like she wanted to be climb by you, Porter!" Alice said.

    "Al, all girls are the same. They all want me to conquer them." Bette said with a smirk.

    Alice laughed sarcastically. "Porter. One day, you’ll realize some mountains aren’t meant to be climbed, but to love and appreciate it." Bette turned to her friend with an unknowing stare.

    Bette finds the beach most relaxing, and the sound of the clashing waves puts an ease on her mind. It’s been a couple days since Bette saw Tina, our hero was still having trouble taking her mind off the sexy blonde. Tina’s words still rings in her ear, truth is, Tina’s rejection was seeping into Bette’s pores, even though, our hero won’t admit it. No one denies Bette of her entertainment. "Where can I find her?" Bette thought.

    Someone up there really loves Bette, because long behold the angelic face was sprinting along the sandy shore. Our hero picked herself up off the sand and ran like Forrest til she caught up with Tina.

    18. Dang, Tina did not leave Bette any wiggle room. Maybe one night of passion will change each other’s minds. Maybe Bette will not be able to walk away from Tina and Tina will find herself falling for Bette.
