    "And what do you feel?"

    "Baby girl." Kit leans in and gives her sister a hug. "You’re glowing."

    Bette was surprised to hear her sister’s observation. "I blame it on T." Bette smiled at her thought.

    "So, what do you say? Can they join you?"

    Bette nodded to her sister, who took that as a permission to wave the gang over. Soon her friends joined Bette at their table. No one said a word, until Dana couldn’t take it any more."I’m sorry Bette. We didn’t mean to."

    "Yeah. We’re really sorry about spying on you." Shane added. Bette smiled at her two friends letting them know that it was okay, before she turned to Alice.

    Alice gulped. "Nice day today, huh?"

    "Al!" Dana and Shane said in unison.

    "Okay. Okay. We’re sorry Porter." Alice apologizes monotonously, as she crosses her arms. "So, are you going to tell us who she is?"

    Now the attention was back on Bette. Our hero thought for a moment on how she should categorize her relationship with Tina. They’re friends, but Bette feels like its more than that. "Tina Kennard. We’re friends, I guess."

    Alice turned to Shane, who then looked at Dana. They all saw it, that glow that Kit was talking about and all three thought, "Oh my goodness! She’s in…. "

    The girls separated shortly after, having individual errands they must tend to. Alice needed to pick up her contacts. Shane has a 11oclock appointment with a client. Dana wants to make sure she’s on top of her game, so she’s trying to eat healthily(?), and that means buying healthier food. Bette went home.

    After leaving The Planet, Alice was seen outside the optometrist office, going in to pick up her new lens. She’s been wearing her glasses since she lost her contacts. So, she was very excited to get her new ones.

    The chimes on the door caused the people in the office to turn and look at Alice. The spunky blonde smiled and walked over to the receptionist.

    "Hi. I’m here to pick up my contacts."

    "Hey. Alice right?" The receptionist flirted.

    "Yep." Alice grinned somehow oblivious to the pass. Then a light tap on Alice’s shoulder caused the spunky one to turn around.

    5. Am absolutely loving your story, it’s one of the best i’ve read on this site. I’ve just caught up with all five chapters and really love the way you capture the banter between B&T, it feels so real and really makes you warm to the characters even more than usual. Please keep it up, I can’t wait to get to the bit where they actually get together. More please!!!

    8. I wonder if Tina was “stalking” Bette’s friends. LOL Dana is so cute when she’s around a girl she finds attractive. I understand the whole dork thing because I am also a dork. =/ Oh, as for my name, Lament will do, but the long version is La-men-TA-mi-ni. :)

    10. That was funny, in that all the girls kept checking out Tina. They are going to flip when they finally meet the woman that has Bette all tied up in knots.
