    Iris_chapter five 

     

    Like usual, Bette storms in the planet for the morning ritual with the gang. However, she noticed their table was empty today. After placing her order, she makes her way to the table.

    She was livid with her friends, last night, but Tina made sure that Bette saw the positive side of it. Another chance to hang out with Tina, if Bette promises to bring the gang with her, next time.

    Bette smiles as she picks up the incoming call. "Hey you."

    "Hey yourself."

    "Nice to hear from you"

    "Nice to your friends?"

    Bette shook her head and chuckle. " Always, but they’re not here."

    "Hiding from you because of last night?" Tina smiled.

    "Yeah. I bet they think I would kick their asses when I see them."

    "You would, huh?"

    "Yeah. I would."

    "But you’re not going to, right?"

    "Nope."

    "Good, because what they did was cute. They were looking out for a friend. I can totally see Jenny doing the same thing for me."

    Bette chuckled. "It’s Alice, I bet, she was behind all of it, because I wouldn’t tell her anything about you."

    "Why don’t you? Tell them we’re friends. You’re my friend, right, Bette?"

    "Yeah, definitely."

    Truth be told, Bette was starting to rethink her original motive. She didn’t plan on liking Tina this much. Bette wanted to sleep with the sexy blonde, just because no one denies Bette Porter. Now, our hero was starting to enjoy the time spent with Tina more than she cares to admit. "Friends. Good place to start." Bette thoughts were interrupted by the voice coming thru the receiver.

    "Hey Bette. I have to get some stuff done today. I’ll call you later."

    "Okay. Talk to you then. "

    Kit walks over with Bette’s order, right as Bette was hanging up.

    "Hey Kit. Have you seen them?"

    Kit smiled, and points to the table in the far corner. Bette turned to see her friends all shyly waving at her.

    "What the heck are they doing there?"

    Kit laughed. "They came in before you, and told me what happened. Alice thought you were going to whoop their butts. So, I suggested them sitting over there, until I get a feel of where you’re at"

    5. Am absolutely loving your story, it’s one of the best i’ve read on this site. I’ve just caught up with all five chapters and really love the way you capture the banter between B&T, it feels so real and really makes you warm to the characters even more than usual. Please keep it up, I can’t wait to get to the bit where they actually get together. More please!!!

    8. I wonder if Tina was “stalking” Bette’s friends. LOL Dana is so cute when she’s around a girl she finds attractive. I understand the whole dork thing because I am also a dork. =/ Oh, as for my name, Lament will do, but the long version is La-men-TA-mi-ni. :)

    10. That was funny, in that all the girls kept checking out Tina. They are going to flip when they finally meet the woman that has Bette all tied up in knots.
