    Chapter Two

     

                Tina had been sitting in the editing room for what seemed like days.  Today was the fourth day of editing and she was only about half way done.  The past week had been very stressful for the young blonde.  There had been minimal contact with the outside world and Tina was beginning to feel like a hobbit. 

     

    Tina removed the baseball had that had been hiding her sleep deprived eyes and tossed it on the table.

     

    Tina:  “I quit” she sighed and stretched out her arms.

     

    Matt:  “You can’t quit”

     

    Startled by her friend’s voice, Tina spun around in her swivel chair defensively.

     

    Matt:  “Whoa now Daniel San, save the crane kick for someone else” he jumped back, almost spilling the coffee he was carrying. 

     

    Tina:  “You scared the ***** out of me!”

     

    Tina grabbed the baseball hat and put it back on.

     

    Matt:  “I brought you some coffee, I figured you needed it.”

     

    Tina:  “Thanks” she yawned as she eagerly reached for her caffeine savior.  “What are you doing out so late?”

     

    Matt:  “I was on a date” he smiled and pulled out a chair.

     

    Tina:  “Ohh a date huh?  With who?”

     

    Matt:  “You remember that really hot chick from the planet?”

     

    Tina:  “You did not get a date with her?!”

     

    Matt:  “Yeah and now we’re getting married.  No, her friend actually.  She’s hot tooand bisexual” he winked and grinned widely. “Besides, super hot chick, big lez.”

     

    Tina:  “Really?”

     

    Matt:  “That was my same reaction.  So where’s David?” he asked trying to be interested in the answer.

     

    Tina:  “Be nice”

     

    Matt:  “I haven’t even said anything”

     

    Tina:  “He’s visiting his brother in Arizona; he’ll be back on Friday.”

     

    Matt:  “You’re still coming to my gig right?”

     

    Tina had totally forgotten about the gig.  She had planned on, hopefully finishing the editing and spending a quiet night with David when he got in.

     

    Tina:  “Honey im so sorry, I forgot.  I told Dave I would be around when he got back.”

     

    Matt:  “You will be around; you’ll be in West Hollywood.”

     

    Tina:  “You know what I mean” she sighed.

    24. Ok so it is months since you began this but I thought I’d still add my comments. I am just echoing the other adoring fans who have thoroughly enjoyed your beginning and want it to continue. You write well and have set an interesting scene for it all to stem from. Please consider continuing this at some point. We will all be here waiting to read it!! Thanks for what you have started.
