Tina has written out a few cards for Bette.  Tina explains. “Bette I know you’re tired, so I wrote out on each card what you should say in your apology.”  Bette replies.  “Tina I love having you as my Mommy.  You really do love me, don’t you?”  Tina blushes.  Bette continues. “Tina I’m just having fun with you.  I really do appreciate everything you’re doing and teaching me.  I promise I won’t let you down.”  Tina interjects.  “Bette you’re doing this for yourself  … and then for me!!!  They both laugh.

When Bette and Tina arrive at the Planet, Marina waves to Bette to come over to the register.  Marina says, “I think you will need these.” (Marina is pointing to Bette’s purse and keys.)  Bette gives Marina a big hug and says, “Marina I want to apologize for last night.  I guess you heard about it?  I promise it will never happen again.”  Marina answers. “Bette I’m more worried about you.  Bill (the bartender) said you were rowdy, and harassing the customers.  You became belligerent when Bill refused to give you another drink.  Bette you know Bill was only looking out for your welfare.”  Bette says, “I know that’s why I want to apologize to him.  Is he here?  Marina says. “Yeah, your in luck.  He’s in Kit’s office. He stopped in to pick up his paycheck.”  Bette looks at Tina and Tina nods towards Kit’s office.

Bette knocks on Kit’s door.  Kit says, “Come in.”  Bette enters holding a single red rose for Kit and a bouquet of flower in a football helmet-shaped vase for Bill.  Bette begins.   “ Kit I apologize for causing a scene in your restaurant last night.”  Bette then turns and faces Bill and hands him the flowers.  “Bill I apologize for disturbing the customers.  I apologize for arguing and being belligerent with you.  I realize now that you were just watching out for me.  I promise it will never happen again.”  Then Bette gives Bill a hug and says I’m sorry.  Bette goes around Kit’s desk and leans down and gives her sister a kiss on the cheek and says, "I’m sorry too.  I promise it will never happen again.  I’m sorry you have to be embarrassed in front of your staff because of me. " Kit says, “Baby Sis I want to believe you.  I worry about you. Just please don’t let it happen again.  Okay?  I accept your apology.”
