    Alice’s answer…Finale

    Shane smiled, ” Congratulations guys!”

    Then as soon as things were clear, everyone ran over to them and started to congratulate them. Once they were done hugging and laughing and once the tears were dry, Kit laughed and finally broke the silence, ” we were afraid you two were gonna ***** right there”.

    Dana blushed and squeezed Alice’s hand, and Alice smiled, ” I was hoping we would and then we were interrupted”.

    Bette walked up to Dana and smiled, ” I knew you would make the right choice Dane, I’m very happy for you”.

    Carmen broke the seriousness and said out loud, ” okay enough about everything else, GIRL LET ME SEE THE BLING!”.

    As the night died down, and a few too many drinks were swallowed, the couple finally decided to head home. Alice who was incredibly happy, celebrated a little too much, and was fast asleep in the car. Dana had maneuvered the chair so that Alice could lay asleep in her lap. She was so peaceful and so quiet, and the smile never faded from her face. Dana did not want to go home, if she went home the memory of even having the thought of leaving Alice again would come back when she would see the bags packed. So she drove back to the one place she knew would bring her peace besides Alice, she was going to drive to the trail where her and Alice used to walk hand in hand.

    Dana parked the car at the edge so that she could see the bright lights of L.A. and softly ran her hands through Alice’s hair. For the first time in her life, things were absolutely perfect. She had the perfect fiance, the perfect life, and she watched as the perfect spread across Alice’s face.

    She knew Alice was in a deep sleep, as she spoke to her, ” I love you so much Alice. I knew the day would come for me to give you this ring. I’ve been holding onto it too long. I promise to give you everything because you’ve given me everything”.

    Alice started to wiggle in her sleep and snuggled closer to Dana, and said out loud from her dream, ” Mrs. Alice Fairbanks, sounds good to me”. Dana smiled, ” sounds good to me too”.

    As the night fades into a starry sky, this couple of love fell asleep in each others’ arms. Sweeping through the streets L.A. there was no sound to be heard, just the sound of Alice and Dana’s heart beating, they only have one heart. Going back into Alice’s apartment, and behind the picture that sits on the stand, we see Alice’s “Goodbye Dana” scribbled away, and in Dana’s handwriting we see the words, ” I’ll Never Leave, I’ll Always Love You”.

    5. “GIRL LET ME SEE THE BLING!”- I cracked up when I read that line and Danish getting it on in the Planet was too cute. Love them going back to the trails cause apparently Danish always goes up the hills when they need to plan, like Moses.

    8. *sob* I loved it! It was so great! Carmen’s “bling” line cracked me up, and I couldn’t help but laugh at Danish almost getting it on in The Planet. Damn everyone for interrupting them! And Alice with no underwear…yummy. ;) So sweet and romantic – just what I needed today. The only bad part is that it’s the end of the story. Oh well, there’s always my imagination. LOL.
