They arrived at The Four Seasons, Santa Barbara around two o’clock in the afternoon. The suite was large with a balcony that overlooked the ocean. The living area was spacious and open in design. There was a dining area, and a work area with the accoutrements of modern life computer, fax and high speed connections.
The bedroom easily accommodated the king size bed and Tina was pleased that there was only one bedroom. She was longing to reconnect with her brunette. She was aware that the couch pulled out but had no intention of it being opened over the next three days. It had been too long and Bette in the loving care of another for too long.
Tina reasoned that Rosanna had the advantage in demonstrating her love to Bette and that was an advantage she planned to erase in a hurry. Since she declared that they would make love today Bette had become subdued. Tina wondered if it were fear or reluctance or both. Bette had already confessed that she was in love with Rosanna; Tina feared only that she had come after her too late.
Tina had to keep moving forward there was too much on the line for her to stop. She had to keep Bette talking and she had to get her into bed. Her first task was to get Bette used to her touch again. She had surprised her by slipping her hand in hers as they approached the front desk to check in. They were given VIP treatment not unexpectedly since the hotel and location demanded all guests be treated that way. Still there was an additional level of deference given as Bette was the special guest of the Prestons’.
“Will you be dining in this evening or shall we reserve a table for you at The Mission Restaurant, currently the finest dining in town?” Karen their personal concierge asked.
“T?” Bette queried unsure of what mood the blonde was in.
“An early dinner out would be nice.” She decided.
“Very good ladies, I will have the car and driver waiting for you at 5pm. Your driver will be George and the Prestons insist that you use their car and driver while you are here. If there is nothing else ladies enjoy your afternoon. Please let me know if I can be of any service. Just dial 1878 from any house phone and you will be directly connected to me.”

I think Bette and Tina belong together, I think Rosanna is the past now.
