    Which was your favourite lap of the marathon?

    Tina brought both of her arms loosely around Bette’s neck, drawing her close, her fingers entwining in the long curls, instinctively knowing where their feet would be placed, one of Tina’s legs between Bette’s legs and one of Bette’s legs between Tina’s, they fit together perfectly, how their hips would move in sync, no matter what music was playing.

    They remained silent, but continued to look intently into each others eyes, their minds wandering to different points in the day, little knowing smiles intermittently interrupting the thoughts. Their bodies moved with the beat of the music, their hips slowly moving together, gently grinding into each other, both knowing and feeling that their bodies were still responsive.

    “What has been your highlight of today T?”

    Tina smiled for a moment before answering, her mind registering all the events of the day, there were so many that she could not pick one specific, she liked one more than another maybe, but that was solely due to the activity at the time, “you can’t ask me that its not fair!”

    “Of course it’s fair, OK, let me rephrase it, is there something that has happened today, that has made a major impact on you?”

    “Bette, that is the same question and I couldn’t answer it first time,” she giggled, “today has been an amazing day, all of it, I can’t possibly pick one thing because of all the things we have shared together.”

    “Ok, what if say, what has been the highlight of something you did and a highlight of something I did!”

    Tina laughed, “you just want your ego boosted and for me to tell you how fucking hot you are!”

    Bette chuckled in response, “well, when you put it that way, what harm can a little ego boost do? So come on then baby, tell me which ‘lap of the marathon’ was your best?”

    Tina again laughed at the analogy of the description, “but babe, there were so many to choose from! But if I HAD to choose a lap for me and a lap for you, then I think it would be uh” she closed her eyes, thinking over the days events, should she choose this morning in the bed, this morning in the shower, lunchtime on Bette’s desk, the gallery, at home before they came out, sitting on Bette’s lap at the table, behind the video screen, what was a girl to choose.

    11. So many different laps to choose from. I would have to choose the gallery and then my next choice would be Tina sitting on Bette’s lap and slipping her fingers into her in front of their friends. I sure wish you were the creator (along with ally) of the show instead of what’s her name. There is so much darkness in this world along with the darkness that has now become the L word. Thanks to you guys there is some light in the darkness. By Keeping these two together brings joy to my heart. Thanks for taking the time to write these wonderful stories.

    13. Jo, this chapter is just so amazing. I am in awe of your writing ability. You have Bette and Tina display their love for each other in a very sensual way. I also liked the talk that Bette and Alice had about finding your soul mate.

    30. Now I have to remember to breathe. I am listening to Bird York singing “In The Deep” from “Crash” and I feel that I am out there with Bette and Tina , just spinning. I would love for your story to be one entire episode in TLW with the same dialogue and narration. Another epi could be your collaborative story w/Ally. Then I don’t care what would happen.
