Bette descended the steps of the podium, her heart was pounding, she had actually enjoyed it when she was up there, she could never, in a million years, have imagined herself going up there and doing that, and she was almost positive that she never would of even contemplated it if it was going to be a planned thing, the good thing was that it was a spur of the moment decision and she hadn’t had much time to think about it, the whole show piece had completely sobered her up.
She walked through the crowd, pats on the back, cheers, pats on the bottom, claps, hands being held up for ‘high fives’, she was beaming, the adrenaline still pumping around her veins, but she was eager to see Tina, see her reaction, take her in her arms and tell her how much she loved her.
As the crowd parted she finally came face to face with her friends, huddled together talking about the performance, as she walked up to them they all turned, Alice threw herself into Bette’s arms, flinging her arms around her neck, “my god Bette, you were amazing up there, so fucking hot, I knew you could do it!”
Bette hugged Alice back, pulling her in tight, and whispering into her ear, “Al, thanks for helping me out with it, you were a star, thank you. Is T OK?”
“She really loved it; I think she’s still in shock!” Alice whispered back.
Bette released Alice and hugged Shane, being patted on the back with “excellent man, fucking brilliant!”
Dana leaned forward and kissed Bette’s cheek, shyly saying, “you looked amazing Bette, really amazing, really sexy!” Bette cupped Dana’s face and kissed her cheek, “Thanks Dana!”
Finally she came face to face with Tina, standing a foot apart, their eyes meeting, Bette’s trepidation at Tina’s reaction showing through, “hey T?”
“Hey sexy, you were pretty hot up there you know!”
“Did it work?” Bette asked.
“Did what work?” Tina looked confused.
“Did I drive you to distraction?” Bette cocked her eyebrow with a smirk, recalling their earlier conversation.
“Come here” Tina smiled.
Bette stepped forward and put her arms around Tina’s waist as Tina brought her arms around Bette’s neck, Bette pulled her in close lifting her off the ground, Tina automatically lifted her legs and encircled Bette’s waist, both holding on tight, burying their heads in each others necks.

I am going to have an expensive water bill this month. All the cold showers that I have had to take just reading this story. All of the love making has been fried into my brain. I will never view a scence of that magnitude the same way again. I still love the gallery scene. That one still sends chills throughout my body and brain.
