Tina gently lay the book down on the floor as she looked up and saw that her baby was now fast asleep. Tina slowly got to her feet and tucked Angie’s sheets up to her chin, gently kissing her daughter’s forehead as she turned out the light and made her way out of the room.
As Tina quietly walked down the hall she stopped at the staircase that was being built as part of the extension to the house. She slowly leaned back against the wall and took a deep breath, exhaling as she closed her eyes.
So much had happened in the past month it was hard to keep up. Her and Bette had got back together and the blonde couldn’t be happier. It seemed that now she had her family back, her life back, everything else just fell into place. All other problems now seemed insignificant because at the end of each day, the blonde would return home to the house that she shared with the love of her life and her daughter, and that’s all she ever wanted.
Tina opened her eyes and remembered she had to start packing soon for her business trip to New York in a few days time. She really didn’t want to go. The blonde hated the thought of not being able to see Angie and Bette for three whole days. She wished they could come with her but she knew Bette was too busy with the gallery opening to take the time off.
As Tina turned back round and made her way towards their bedroom, she heard music coming from the front room. The blonde slowly turned back round and edged towards the end of the corridor, trying to recognise the song as she got closer to the sound. As she turned the corner she let out a soft chuckle at the sight before her and leaned against the wall folding her arms.
Bette was standing in the middle of the living room facing away from Tina. She was wearing a pair of black yoga pants and a white tank-top, making small movements with her hands and feet in time to some of the beats in the song.
Tina stood and watched her partner for a few minutes, trying not to laugh at Bette’s adorableness as she continued to try and choreograph some dance moves, seemingly getting frustrated at her own efforts. Bette finally turned round to find Tina leaning against the wall with her head tilted to the side, grinning at the brunette.

Love this new story so sorry it’s only going to be a two-parter. Surely you can take it thru Tina’s trip to NYC and the dance contest and their reaction for after the contest. Just hoping and wishing. Really like their reminiscing about old times, their happiness and their newly found love and attraction. Sweet. PPS
