Jenny sits and nods looking away for a second. She slaps her hands against her legs.

Jenny: You’re right.

Jenny stands from her seat and tries to calm her upset friend.

Jenny: If I overreacted, I’m sorry. I’m just afraid you might lose your soul just for the sake of gaining your manhood.

Max shakes his head, his face beginning to be flushed with tears.

Max: I’m not…I’ll only lose that if I lose you.

Jenny walks towards Max, wrapping her arms around his waist and leaning her head against his chest. She sighs.

Jenny: You won’t.

It’s a moment of solace for both as the mood has changed out of confrontational to understanding. Jenny looks up with a smirk.

Jenny: But we’re definetly not getting married.

Max and Jenny both share in a laugh as they embrace each other.

Max: Deal.

Jenny: Congratulations on the new job.

Max: Thanks.

There’s more than just an embrace occuring between Tina and Henry at Henry’s house as the two make love in his bedroom. It’s a great to way use up a lunchbreak for both, they figure. Meanwhile at Bette’s Bette tries not to think about Tina, keeping all of her thoughts on baby Angelica as she lets her maturity regress some and plays with her daughter on the floor of the house. Bette’s phone then rings and it’s Kit. Kit tells Bette the news.

Bette: You’re what? Pregnant???

Carmen meanwhile is still getting used to her new surroundings as she continues to settle into what was Alice’s apartment. She spends her afternoon going through mixes and perfecting her art as DJ Sugar, trying not to think about Lara and Alice possibly beginning their fight over Dana with Dana now getting out of the hospital. She also tries not to think about Shane. As for Shane, she’s reluctantly decided to go to Oregon City to meet up with her birth father, Gabe and his family.

Upon Shane’s return from Oregon City, an official homecoming shall take place for Dana, because in the mind of Dana and her friends, it wouldn’t be complete without her. Lara cooks for Dana and Alice helps. Silently, a rivalry appears to be brewing between the two for Dana’s affection, but for now it is just that. Silent. For now, all are happy that Dana is home.

Dana: So where’re you guys gonna sleep?

Alice: Um…Dana….I tho-

Lara: Is your living room couch a fold-out?

Dana shakes her head.

Lara: Okay…well….one of us can sleep on the couch…the other in the guest bed.

Dana: Or you can both just share the guest bed. It’s not that small and it’s a lot more comfy than the couch.

Alice and Lara exchange what is a mutually puzzled expression.

Dana: But hey, either way’s fine with me. I guess I’m just used to sleeping alone nowadays.

Alice: You don’t have to if you want to, baby.

Dana: Don’t worry, Al. If I need someone, I’ll be sure to yell.

Dana smiles at both Alice and Lara.

Lara: Just be sure to yell out which name.

Alice: Yeah…or else we’ll both just run in there, heheh.

Dana: Awwww…you two are too sweet to me. You really are. You both really deserve to be happy.

Lara: Well I am.

Lara walks away from the stove and over to Dana who sits at the table. Lara puts her left arm around Dana.

Lara: You’re home.

Alice walks over to Lara and pats her left hand against Lara’s back.

Alice: Hey, Lara? I think the food’s ready.

Lara looks back at Alice who grins and nods with her eyes wide open.

Lara: Okay.

Lara slides away from Dana and starts to walk back to the stove, just as Alice begins to slink towards Dana. Lara, however grabs Alice’s right hand with her left and pulls Alice with her, forcing her to walk with Lara to the stove.

Lara: We can both bring the food to the table.

Dana looks on as her feelings become a mixture of amusement and fear. The amusement over Alice and Lara and the fear over someone getting eventually getting hurt, which she wants for none of them.
