Someone asked Alice who was the woman she was with and if it was a date. Suddenly there was a bright flash and both girls realised the photographer had taken a picture of them leaving together for which ever magazine the reporter wrote for. Alice did not answer the question and Dana gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. Another reporter asked Dana if she was dating Alice and for how long but Dana ignored it and carried on. Next minute someone pushed and Alice and Dana broke contact. Dana stopped dead but could not see Alice who had been pushed back from her. The reporter then handed Dana a card with her contact details on and said when it finished in the morning she should call her. That was it, Dana was angry. She turned and said that they had just had a date and was enjoying the evening but she was on the verge of ruining it and not to waste her time. Dana called to Alice who came through the small crowd and Dana smiled at her and took her hand again and both girls hurried and got in the car.

Johnny asked if the two were ok, he was sorry it was just that he couldn’t get any closer with the paparazzi there. Dana told him not to worry, shot Alice a glance to ask if she was ok and if she was hurt at all. Alice looked at Dana, still tightly holding her hand, and smiled saying with her but her side, nothing could hurt her. As Johnny sped off away from the mayhem, Alice reached across putting one hand behind Danas` head and pulled her in for a hot passionate kiss. Johnny looked in his rear view mirror to see if anyone was following behind and noticed the pair. He smiled and thought how perfect they looked together.

The taxi pulled up outside Alices` home and the two girls got out. Alice paid the fare and Johnny called Dana round to his side. He had the window down and leaned out to say to her that what she had done that night was wonderful but she needed to keep her safe as she was a great person and deserved someone caring. Dana told him not to worry, as long as Alice wanted, she would be there for her every second she needed her. Johnny beamed at Dana and said that was good to hear, he called goodnight to Alice and drove off. Both girls looked at each other and smiled, then Alice turned to open the door to the second part of their evening …
