The women were now eating their main dish and talking about live..

Kit: well, I’ve my own place now and it feels like heaven.. all by myself

Bette: really? And how’s your mum?

Kit: oh mum is good, still doing her thing.. I live not far from her so we see each other a few times per week..

Bette: ah that’s good, I’m glad you still have a close band with her.. (smiling)

Kit: yeah me too. When was the last time you heard something from your mother?

Bette: pff.. I don’t know.. (laughing sadly) I really don’t know.. must me a long time ago

Kit: really..? I’m sorry Bette..

Bette: yeah me too..

Tina saw that Bette was close to tears and she stroke her back..

Tina: are you okay Bette?

Bette: yeah I’m alright.. it just hit me that it really is a long time ago.. I can’t even remember.. god.. what a mother is that..!

Tina: shh let’s not go into it right now..

Bette: your right, we’re here to talk to Kit.. tell me, how’s the café?

Kit: oh everything is well.. still having my regular costumers.. dad is visiting regularly too, thank god for that.. I like having contact with him.. and the step is a lot smaller when he walks through the door of the café a few times per week..

Bette: good! That’s good.. I really hope we can do that too Kit.. where do you live? Maybe I can come and visit you once a week or so..

Tina smiled because Bette really was having a good time tonight with her sis. She saw her girlfriend doing her best to get to know her sister a little better tonight and keep the conversation flowing.. she pinched her hand under table and she saw Bette’s eyes flickering from happiness.. god, she is so beautiful and this wonderful girl was deeply in love with me.. ohh and I’m sooo in love with her..

Kit saw the flickering too and wondered who or what was causing it..
