“You want oatmeal cookies and soy milk?” Kit whispered into her ear.
Tina could tell by the grin on Angie’s face that sweets were coming.
“Oatmeal is good for you” Kit defended herself from Tina’s hard look.
“Angie likes oatmeal cookies” the little girl nodded.
Kit flagged down Karen to take their snack order. “So what’s going on?” Kit looked at Tina and her sister closely. The two were glowing. “I’m so glad you both came to your senses.” Kit shook her head.
“I thought you said I lost my damn mind and not to forget that we hate each other?” Bette teased.
“And you said that you loved Tina…that you always loved Tina.”
Tina looked at Bette surprised that she had confessed that to Kit.
“So I was wondering” Bette was feeling a bit embarrassed “if you would be my best woman?”
“Best woman?” Kit looked from one woman to the other. A huge smile lit up her face. Karen approached with their snacks and Kit instructed her to bring them a bottle of good champagne.
“What are we toasting?” Alice asked as she joined the table uninvited just as the champagne and glasses arrived.
“We all got together and purchased a one way ticket for you to study the mating habits of lesbians in Siberia.” Tina replied smoothly.
“That’s so…not funny.” Alice responded once the full sentence registered.
Kit poured the bubbly into four glasses with just a celebratory touch for herself.
“Congratulations” Kit touched her glass to theirs. “So you are finally going to make an honest woman of her Baby Sis. Have you set a date?”
“June 9th” They spoke together.
“2009” both Kit and Alice asked shocked.
“Are we talking about a wedding?” Alice asked confused. June 9th was only two months away.
“This year Alice” Tina assured her. “So would you be my best woman?”
“Me?” Alice beamed both with surprise and pleasure. “But what’s the hurry have you knocked her up or something” Alice quipped.
“Not yet but I intend to.” Tina responded seriously letting her eyes linger for a moment on Bette’s gorgeous body. “We are going to have another baby and Bette will be the birth mother this time.”

You may feel like you’re struggling with the rewrite, Kelika, but it absolutely does not read that way. Iloved it the first time and love it just as much now. Fantastic update!
I would love for that to take place and then down the road have Bette father Tina’s baby. Then Angie would be the big girl on the block.

I am glad that Tina stood up to Kit for Bette, I really think it is true that sometimes what Kit says and does hurts Bette than Melvin ever did. I am so excited to see how this story continues.

Hey Kelika, Am loving the loving in this new adventure. Bette and Tina are just so right together. Doc Wilson was great in giving them all the options. Then meeting the gang and revealing some of their good news ans plans. Great to see Tina taking Kit aside and explaining how things are. Kit admitted her mistake and showed her joy at the prospects of Bette and Tina’s child. Delicious drama. More please. May thanks for these great two chapters. Your Loyal Fan.

I’m sure you know that this isn’t so way out. British scientists think that they have found a way to produce viable sperm from either women or men’s bone marrow cells. So its not so farfetched. Kelika: you know I love this story–but thought I’d just tell you again! Have a great weekend.Lin
