    Firefighters Dilemma Pt1/2

“Panther, hardly, House panther? Not so much” glancing behind her to meet Alice’s gaze “House cat, yes. Where the hell do you come up with this stuff?” waving her hand behind her back trying to silence the ongoing question session “Never mind don’t answer that. I don’t have time or the patience for the explanation I’m sure.” Picking up the receiver once more and dialing the newly acquired phone number .

“Keep that attitude Fairbanks and see who helps you with this pussy problem.” Alice said bursting into laughter once more as she quickly got out of Dana’s immediate reach.

    ***************************************************************

Alice busied herself while Dana was on the phone by attempting to do pushups which failed miserably.

“How fucking hard can these be, Dana does them all the time.” the blond thought in her own little ‘World’, she was laying face down on the floor unable to push herself up without using her knees to assist her shaking arms with the push.

“What the hell are you doing?” Dana asked resting her body against the back of a rescue truck.

Alice’s head shot up as she tried to quickly construct some type of cover-up to her failed exercise attempt “I dropped my contact. Oh-look there it is.” picking up an imaginary contact lens “I should probably go rinse this off.” pushing herself up fast and jogging past Dana to the bathroom.

Dana shook her head “Only you could lose a contact in a fire station Al.” chuckling.

“So what ‘are we up against’?” Alice mocked using her fingers to quote Dana’s previous statement from the bathroom. “It is a panther, isn’t it? Tell it to me straight.”

Dana rolled her eyes at Alice’s theatrics. “The owners said the cat was only up the tree about twenty feet or so, and that we wouldn’t be able to get a ladder truck or anything of that matter that had significant size up to the residence.”

“So what the hell are we supposed to do? Go up there and ask the cat pretty please?” Alice joked, batting her eyelashes

“Hell if I know, you are the one who was so anxious…”

Alice quickly cut off the remark “Don’t even. So what are we going to do?”

    1. Alice as a firewoman, a “panther” (only Alice could come up with something like that) and Alice doing pushups… ROTFLMAO!!! Don’t let anything bad happen to the cat, please. I love cats, I’ve got eleven of them, lol. Great job, girls!!!

    2. This is simply hilarious. Excellent job, akshunjack. I love the entire scenario. The two of them bantering was very well written. Seriously, it is a great day to learn that you have 2 other Danish writers helping you out. I thought it only happened during Danish hay days. I salute you three akshunjack, HF & MaGoose for your undying devotion to keep Danish alive. Maybe MaGoose can share some of her eclairs and chocolate cake and I will offer a few bottles of virtual champagne to celebrate this Danish camaraderie. Can’t wait to see how they handle the “big cat.” Thank you.

    3. The story is nothing but great it’s funny and it’s nice to read something that is not Drama not that there are anything wrong with that….About the start of a pool on who this happened to? That’s great idea I just can’t get in on since I do know it happend to;-)
