Fire and Ice Chapter 32
"Well, if you’re sure you’re ready…mixing cocktails can be dangerous…" A sly smile spread across Bette’s lips as she played with the blonde, using Tina’s own game to further the sexy exchange.
"You know, I’m not sure…but, I’m willing to take a chance. A nice glass of bourbon sounds too good to resist…" Tina narrowed her eyes, making note of Bette’s preferred drink the first time she ever saw her.
"You like bourbon?" Bette’s voice surprised and straying from the game.
"I don’t know…I guess we’ll find out." Tina shrugged, her smile still innocently glued to her face.
Bette forced her gaze away from Tina long enough to instruct the waitress on the particular brand and year she preferred. She held up two fingers, nodding as the waitress took her speedy exit.
"Uh, I hope you like it…it’s a very strong drink…most people have to acquire a taste for it…" Bette began, almost quivering from the fire their sensual game had ignited.
Tina turned her face full on to Bette. "I think I’ve already acquired a taste for it…" Her lips dragged the words slowly out, her own hazel eyes concentrating on the brunettes pulsating lips.
She quickly turned away, embarrassed by how forward she was being. She couldn’t help it…this woman brought out the wildest side of her, awakening her sensuality from a long slumber…
Bette shifted slightly away from Tina in an effort to diffuse the heat encompassing their bodies. She knew Tina was feeling confliced again as the blonde began to blurt out the first thing that came to her mind.
"So…your gallery…it looks like things got a little wild last night…" Tina began, sipping the water placed before her in attempt to calm her aching mouth.
Bette nodded, laughing a little at the state of her space. "Yeah. So much for leaving Marcus in charge…although it really wasn’t his fault. The artists are pretty unstoppable once they get going…especially that bunch."
"Did you say Marcus was in charge? Did you leave early?" Tina inquired, suddenly confused by the night’s events.
Bette reddened a little. "Uh, yeah. I left early. I was tired…and…I wanted to look for you…" She admitted without reserve.
"You did?" Tina asked, flattered by the new information.
"Yes…I was concerned…Alice said you were really upset after Eric left…and I…I wanted to make sure you were okay…." Bette began, treading lightly on the raw situation of Tina’s recent break-up.

sweet baby Jesus i hate the word “slow”!!!! lets see where the bourbon takes them lol..pps>>>>>>>>tease!!!
When Eric caught Bette and Tina “just looking” at each other and he knew it, it reminded me of when Tina caught Bette and Candace just looking at each other and “just knew it”. Ooow, dreadful thought *shakes head and smacks self*. Another fabulous update Fire…I feel a sizzle coming on!
“I’ve already acquired a taste for it” oooh have mercy..i luv that line…
Yay date time…let’s lay off the heavy stuff and have a good time! PPS:)
I love that Bette took Tina somewhere so romantic. The flirting was beyond sexy now if they can forget what’s his name and just enjoy their date I will be thrilled. :)

“We now find ourselves smack dab in the middle of b & t’s first date. again, expect delays. these two need to take it slow, don’t you think? after all, rome wasn’t built in a day…” => LMAO! Sorry, firestarter, I just found your warning too funny. *snort* I’ve learned how to deal with the delays, the stops and starts in this slooow burn story. I’m glad they’re talking and processing the recent events and changes though. I wonder what the heat from the shot of bourbon will do to them? Thanks as always, firestarter, and pls post without delay if you can. :>
love the banter between the two. Thanks looking forward to next
Rome was built in several decades, lol oh boy this is gonna be a long story, lol… enjoying it.. love their banter..:)PPS
bourbon… hmmmmmmmm…Jack is in the house… good choice… PPS
Maybe these two shouldn’t drink at all when they are together…the heat between them is enough..thanks for the date…can’t wait for more
Ok, so you’re preparing us for a date that will span the next 15-20 chapters, right??? LOL I agree they should take things slow. I’m loving the sexual tension, but also the obvious feelings they share for each other in such a short time period. Bring on the heat! PPS
That was great and they are sweet. Please post more, thanks!
