Bette chuckled a bit, “Yes, sure thing,” The police got their magazines and a silver sharpie; they gave her the sharpie, “Who should I make this one too?” Bette looked to the first officer, “Uhm, Officer Taylor Michaels,” The Officer said nervously, she signed that magazine, gave it back, and then turned to the other Officer taking his politely, before she signed this one she turned to see if Tina was alright, she was just standing there waiting, not really paying attention to what was going on, her arms were protectively wrapped around herself so Bette tried to rush this quicker,

“And you sir?”

“Officer Kyle Lumen,” Bette signed it and gave the magazine and the sharpie back to the Officers.

“There you go boys; now I’m going to get Miss. Kennard home, have a great night,”

“You too NiRa!”

“Bye NiRa!” and with that Bette turned around toward Tina, the Officers got into their cruisers and took off. Happy they got an autograph from the one and only Night Raider.

 “So you ready to go home?” Bette all of a sudden felt nervous; she knew this was a stupid question.

“Yes I am thanks,” Tina shyly looked down to her shoes, still frightened about what happened earlier, but feeling safe with NiRa around.

“Let’s get out of this Alley,” Bette suggested, they walked the few feet out of the alley and Bette stopped Tina, “How do you want to get there?”

Tina chuckled, “What do you mean?” Tina said smiling for the first time since the incident.

“There are photographers around here, so I would assume you just want to get home fast instead of walking and having them question us.” Bette looked at Tina for confirmation. Tina looked around and saw a photographer peek his head back behind the car to keep him from their view. She shook her head,

“Which ways are there?” Tina said smiling at Bette, there was something about NiRa that she liked.

“Well I could carry you there, run you there or fly you there,” Bette suggested while smiling back at Tina, she wondered how many times Tina had been offered those options for a way home. Bette was hoping she could fly Tina home, it would get them away from the photographers, and she could hold Tina for a while and show her the city.
