“My god…that’s…inhuman” Dana replied as she looked down. The idea of a town being sacrificed for the sake of some large company’s financial gain was just appalling. Thinking about all the lives that were taken just because of this experiment made her angry.

“How could they get away with this” She asked Leon.

“With enough money and power, you can get away with anything. Kind of makes organized crime look like selling Girl Scout cookies.” Leon was able to shimmy open the lock and laughed with triumph.

“Alice was sent to cover the….oh god.” Dana’s face suddenly went Ashen at the thought that Alice could still be trapped in this hell hole. She’s probably alone, and terrified with these zombies wandering the streets, or worst yet, dead. Leon opened the doors to the Police Cruiser.

“We need to get going Dana. There’s no way we can continue to out run these guys on foot. I’m sure if we look we’ll be able to find Alice.” Leon said as he motioned for Dana to get inside the police vehicle. Dana nodded nonchalantly as she hoped inside.

As they sped down the streets, Dana noticed the horrific scenes of other Zombies and other creatures that started to emerge from the shadows.

“Look in the glove compartment Dana.” Dana followed Leon’s instructions while he continued to keep his eyes on the road. As Dana opened the glove compartment doors a large metal object fell out of the compartment.

“It’s a gun.” Dana picked up the Gun and examined it. This was the first time that she ever held a gun. She always hated guns, she hated how easily it was for some one to pull a trigger and end a life ‘better than the alternative I guess’ she thought to her self as she put the gun back.

“Take it Dana.” Leon said.

“No…I don’t like….” Dana began to reply but Leon cut in just before she could finish her sentence.

“Dana, take the gun. It could mean the difference between and death. I don’t know what’s going to happen here. In case we get separated I need to know if you will be able to protect your self.”
