Disturbance – The Day After Part 3

Bette: don’t worry Tina I have her she’s safe…we will be right behind you…right behind you ok.

Bette said twice to reassure Tina that she wasn’t alone.

Outside officer: uh ma’am you should probably stay here to answer some questions then…

    Bette cut him off.

Bette: no if you guys need me I will be at the hospital, im not leaving her alone

Bette grabbed both kids hands and put them into her Sabb, then ran over to the drivers safe after making sure they were buckling up and pulled off. She wanted to speed to the hospital but she had two small children in the car in she wouldn’t endanger their life no more than it already has been.

Ten mintues later they pulled up to the hospital.  Quickly she unbuckled the kids and made her way over insidw over to the information booth.

Bette: I’m here for my friend Tina Kennard she was just rushed her in a ambulance.

Nurse: ok let’s see what’s going on…ok I see she is being admitted as we speak so you will have to wait in the waiting room until further notice.

Bette: Fuck! How long would that be?

Nurse: ma’am once the doctors have seen her we will call you to go back there with her.

Bette didn’t want to cause a scene in front of the children they had been through enough.

Bette: ok but as soon as it’s ok please come and get me, please.

    Nurse: will do ma’am

Bette and the children went and sat inside the waiting room, all looking defeated and frightened.
Angie and Christie were sitting next to each other holding hands.

Christie: Angie’s mom, is my mother going to be ok?

Chrisite said through her crocodile tears.

Bette pulled the little girl close to her and held her.

Bette: oh baby your mom will be just fine honey don’t you worry about that ok.

    Christie: ok

Angie: Chrisite I won’t let anything happen to you ok?

Christie nodded her head and then sat close to Angie squeezing her hand tighter.

Christie: I love you angie, you’re my best friend.

Angie: I love you too Christie, you’re my best friend too.

Bette closed her eyes trying to hide her tears threatening to fall after hearing the beautiful emotional exchange between two young friends. It was pure and from that moment unbreakable.

Stay tuned for more Disturbance… I will end this day from hell and bring in a new day with new beginnings soon..I promised ;-)

    1. Spousal abuse probably happens way more than the public realizes. We just see the sensational cases like in the NFL And yet no one thought it was too bad UNTIL they saw the video tape of Ray Rice knocking his fiancee unconscious in the elevator.

Please give Tina the courage to press charges against Henry for attempted murder and depraved indifference. Post when you can.

    2. Hello! I was off today so I broke down and read this story! Its a very sad and amazing story! I don’t understand how a person don’t realize they don’t have to be in a situation like abuse. All we can do is pray for them and pray they get MAJOR help! Love your self more than you love the person that’s beating you. I stepped outside my box on this one.

    3. Oh my heart was so tight to see Tina being mistreated
by the monster, it was a very sad scene, also sad to know
      it happens in real life.
Maybe now Tina has the courage to send to jail
      this soulless.
      You are a fantastic writer!
      10 stars.

Note: I’ll have to buy medicine from the heart
      to the next chapter.

    4. I’m with topcoat! Domestic abuse is the hidden evil in our society. Hopefully you telling this story will help at least one person find the strength to get out of an abusive situation – whether heterosexual or homosexual or blood relative. Thank your for sharing.

    5. Thank you for a wonderful update. Hope Tina’s nightmare end soon. she should have get help sooner. Abusive is a sickness , can’t explain much. A good fren of mine trying to get over her abusive boyfriend, trying to leave him many times but something holding her back. A lots of beating until end up in a very bad shape, at the end one of our fren act discreetly and beat the hell out of him, maybe an eye to an eye works better, only when he felt the pain he did to others then he will stop. Of course I don’t encourage violent here but we all felt great after hearing what happened to him. My fren is well now but no confident in other relationship.
I like your story…. keep it up and more soon.

    6. Yes, it is indeed a difficult situation, but I really liked it, dear.
for the victims is very difficult to take the first step to put an end to the situation. Tina just lucky because she found Bette to whom she feel confidence immediately.
I’m so glad that Tina went to Bette’s house, but the bastard found them, but police arrived in the nick of time.
I hope, we never to be heard from him again !!!! :)
and now we are able to read the wonderful friendship of two women and finally getting closer to each other ;)
the two little girls were so sweet, I have tears in my eyes.

    7. I agree with all the comments above.

Hope we will never have to see that evil bastard and that Tina and Christie can move on with their lives.

Luckily they have two amazing persons who can support them.

You are doing a amazing job with this subject!
