“Making food.  Something about not having anything at her place?” 

            “No kidding.”  Bette and Helena said at the same time and they shot each other a look.  Helena cleared her throat and walked over to the small crib and looked down at the kicking baby girl.  How adorable the child was.

            “Finally gave in and purchased a crib I see?”  Helena asked giving Tina a soft look.

            “Yeah well”  Bette began and Tina grimaced.  The attachment parenting thing had been Bette‘s idea, had to be chic!  Then Bette turned around and acted as if it had been Tina‘s idea to begin with!  Typical Bette, she can ever, ever be wrong.

            “Bette thought the attachment parenting was taking it too far.”  Tina stated and Helena nodded, the door bell ringing.

            “Now what?”  Bette yelled throwing her hands up in the air.  They were never gonna fuck if the house was full?  Bette wondered if she had enough duct tape to tape them all down, Tina included.  Tina rolled her dark eyes, throwing herself back on the couch. 

            “When will it end?”  Tina lamented.  Helena said nothing, sliding her hands into her pockets and rocking back and forth on her heels.  Helena wasn’t about to tell Tina that it HAD been over, but she’d been the one to start it back up again.  She’d been rid of Bette ‘The Bitch’ Porter and then had taken her back. 

            Bette ripped the door open to find Carmen and Shane making out and behind them were Kit, Dana and Lara.  Coming up the drive was a very butch looking woman and Jenny.  “Um guys?”  Bette asked staring at Carmen‘s ass and Shane broke the kiss.  Carmen‘s hands moved down and cupped Shane‘s ass and Shane grinned. 

            “Dude, we came to help.”  Shane said in her throaty voice.  Carmen wiped her lips with the back of her hand.  Dark Spanish eyes met Bette‘s and Carmen seemed filled with mischief. 

            “Uh huh, help.”  They pushed into the house past Bette and Lara gave a look to Alice who waved and yelled over her music.

            “Did you two like all the toys?  Hope you washed them first Dana liked a few of ‘em up her ass!  Specially the big orange one with the balls, she got all hot an bothered!”  Alice turned continuing to dance in the kitchen.  Looking like a commercial for Ipods.  Dana put her hands to her face, Lara hung her head.  There were things Lara didn’t need to know about Alice and Dana‘s sex life and that had been one of them.
