“Not that it could beat that, but what did you bring me?” Alice enquired as her nose finally caught the aroma of lunch in the room. Dana crawled over the chaotic sheets and grabbed the edibles, placing them delicately on the bed. Alice made an ooohing noise as Dana began unpacking and dishing out.

With their stomachs full and satisfied Dana shed her clothing and slid back into bed next to her lover, entangling herself in the slender limbs whilst placing her head under Alice’s chin.

“Well what did you have in mind baby?” Dana replied placing another kiss to Alice’s ivory skin and sliding her leg between the blonde’s bringing them even closer together although neither thought it possible. “I think it sounds perfect,” the brunette answered genuinely hoping to assure her girlfriend that something romantic as that could never be considered ‘stupid’. Alice could see the honesty reflected back at her and was overcome with the warmth that washed over her body and encircled her heart. Could it be possible to fall more and more in love each day? she wondered taking Dana’s hand in hers and kissing it.

“I love you” Alice said clearly but troubled because she wasn’t confident those words could convey the truth and emotion laced within them. Dana seemingly understood pulling Alice’s face forward into an urgent kiss and pouring her own feelings into it that words could simply not match.
