Christmas Eve:  Alice’s Apartment

Alice awoke alone in bed this morning. She and Dana had spent the whole night reconnecting, they’d had passionate sex, slowly made love and then there was the raw fucking. Each was different in Alice’s opinion, sex wasn’t just one thing and exploring all possibilities with her girlfriend had left her exhausted, so exhausted that it was now 2pm and she’d completely slept through Dana getting up, having breakfast, going for a jog, returning and then heading out to grab them lunch.

She turned her sheet clad body over and smiled when she seen the note on Dana’s pillow:

Sleepyhead, I didn’t have the heart to wake you, you look so beautiful when you sleep even with that bed head, especially with that bed head! I’ve gone to get us lunch from The Planet, by the way GET SOME FOOD your refrigerator is an embarrassment to refrigerators everywhere! J Don’t move a muscle I’ll be back soon.

It was romantic, cute, geeky and so very Dana and Alice couldn’t help but beam as she read it for a second time then stretched. Although she was ordered not to move a muscle, her bladder was screaming otherwise, so reluctantly she tumbled out of the bed and staggered to the bathroom. She made sure to brush her teeth before getting back into bed, morning/afternoon breath was not a turn on and she had many plans which involved her mouth today, none of them involving food though.

The blonde was flicking through a Cosmo magazine when she heard the front door open and close. She threw it across the room, dived under the sheet and turned on her side closing her eyes to feign sleep. Dana entered carrying take out bags from their favourite café, she had sandwiches, soup, salads and coffee and was carefully balancing it in her arms. She noticed the magazine sprawled on the floor and the note had been moved. Slowly she set the hoard down on the floor before walking over to the bed.

“Alice I know you’re awake, takes more than that to fool Super Fairbanks,” Dana exclaimed proudly with a dorky grin on her face. Alice’s composure fell when she heard Dana announce her new name; she began hysterically giggling and turned around to face the brunette. Dana sat on the bed and frowned, the writer continued chuckling and the athlete pouted as she spoke.
