    Shane and Dana have a one to one and just what does happen on that yummy couch of Alice’s?

    Shane’s Truck

      

    As she swerved a diagonal path through evening traffic trying to get to Milk, Shane recalled her conversation with Dana earlier on. The subject? Alice as usual:

     

    “So have you told her yet?”

    “Ha! Funny Shane, you know I could never tell her, can we drop this? It’s all we talk about lately”.

    “Dana, it’s been what, like 5 years now, the girl deserves to know sometime, you know I hate meddling but it’s painful to see two people who couldn’t be more right for each other, living separate lives oblivious to what’s right in front of them”

    Dana let out a heavy sigh she didn’t realise she was holding in and closed her eyes unsure if she could go through another conversation about the delicate issue of Alice again.

    “It’s not that simple Shane, I can’t fuck up what we already have, this could totally break our friendship and I can’t live a life without her being a part of it… I love her.” Dana whispered the last part of her admission. The pain was evident on her face as Shane watched a tear make its way down the cheek of the athlete. The skinny brunette moved to engulf Dana in a big hug. “Hey come here, please don’t cry, I hate it when girls cry, especially cute dykey tennis players”.  Dana couldn’t help but laugh at this, Shane’s exterior may have been of a cynical aloof nature at times but her friends knew a completely different side to her that was unveiled when either of them needed her. This was one of those moments.

    “I’m sorry Dana, I’ll drop this now ok, you wanna come with me to Milk tonight? We can do shots and I can watch you make a fool of yourself when you get shit faced and dance again”, suggested Shane with a wide grin on her face and a wiggle of her eyebrows. Dana laughed again and wiped her tears away, “fuck you, I was working it.” It was Shane’s turn to chuckle now.

     “I can’t go to Milk tonight however tempting that offer sounds, I got movie night with Al”.

    “Oh yeah shit, well you’re coming out with me tomorrow and we’re gonna cheer you up, maybe even get you laid!”

    4. It is high, it is far, it is … GONE!!! You knocked it out of the park! (FYI – that’s John Sterling’s call when someone hits a homerun – like you – just now. Yeah – I’m a Yankee fan.) I love the fact that Dana didn’t hesitate, and took possession of Alice’s lips. I don’t know what’s going to happen next, but that was worth whatever fallout may come. :-)

    7. Ohhhh, u’r gonna just leave us hangin’ like that. Thats just wrong, but i guess thats okay. I’ll wait patiently (for now) for anything in u’r story. LOL. And im sure u’ll do fine on the NC-17 b/c of how good the rest of it is. That is so alice to just blurt it out to dana, that was funny, but cute at the same time. Love this story, PPS!!!!!!!
