“Wow”
Bette smiled.
“Babe…we don’t have to do the girls room together if…”
Bette quickly cut Tina off. “T… I want to do it with you. I can’t promise that my painting time will never be my me time… but right now I want to share it with you… especially if it’s for our kids.”
“I love you Bette”
“To the moon and back baby”
“So how are you feeling? You ready to head to bed or do you feel up to picking some pictures for the nursery walls.”
“I thought you were going to handle that?”
“Yeah and you were going to do all the painting.”
“We did that together and I would like to do this together if you feel up to it.”
“I would love to T… but can we lay in bed and go though them, I want to be able to relax with you wile we do.”
“Sure babe, we just have to make sure I get everything emailed out tonight. Freddy at the lab promised me if I got it all to him by 10:00 tonight he would have them all printed and framed and delivered by 2:00 tomorrow afternoon.”
“Really?”
“Yep”
“We better get to it then you know how long I can sit and look at your pictures.”
“Babe if we can just get through them and pick some you can look at them all night long if you want to.”
“Promise?” Bette asked with a smile.
“I promise!”
Together they made quick work of selecting the first photos to be added to the baby’s walls. A photo of them together Tina behind Bette kissing her cheek with her hands resting on Bette’s tummy would be the center piece surrounded by smaller pictures of Bette posing by the tree one of Tina kissing Bette’s tummy, of course Tina’s favorite of Bette sleeping made the cut along with one of Tina that Bette fell in love with when the camera caught her in a dreamy stare watching Bette. They decided the rest of the pictures on the wall should be of the gang while they were setting up the nursery. The rest of the night they spent cuddled up in each others arms enjoying the quiet time together both well aware of the fact that quiet time together would be replaced by quality time with their new addition.

Love that Tina can calm Bette and Gavin down. He will be Tina’s baby,he will want her all the time. Just like his Mom does.
